We just adopted a two year old Pyredoodle. She is full of life and loves to play. But we have a lot of cats around the house. And to her the chase was on. Even though we tried to train her with a lead. The moment she was off lead. The chase was on. We tried for weeks with no luck. So when we were at our wits end. We thought to try the PATAPET Dog Shock Collar with remote. I have to admit the results were very quick. The first time we used the collar she bolted for the first cat she could find. We called her back and got the "talk to the tail response." We tried the vibrate and calling her. No luck. We yelled no and hit her with about a 1 second shock. She immediately stopped chasing. And did not chase the rest of that time outside. The next time out same thing. Same results. The third time I hit the vibrate and she responded.She only had the collar on when she went outside. Perhaps 20-30 minuets at a time.It's been just over a week now. And we only put the collar on at night when she goes out.We live in a remote area and there is a lot of wildlife that comes out at night.I was not a fan of "shocking our newest family member." But in the effort of keeping all the other critters around us safe. I feel it was a tough love situation. Now we are all living in peace.

This collar has saved us! My pup is six months old tomorrow and was just starting to test me with her distance away during play and her obedience. She began walking into the street while i gardened which she has never done before and would not listen when I called her back. She thoughtnit was a game! We live on a dead end cul DE sac but it gets busy in boating season with our boat launch. I want her to be wary of the road. My breeder told us about this collar and said with this breed Aussie Doodle, you never need to use the shock setting. I have not used it in the first week at all because she is responding so well. When she goes near the road, I tell her STOP! If she does not, I beep it. That is usually enough. Once I had to use the vibrate which is on level 4 and she ran to me like a bat out of he**. After that, she obeyed the first time every time. It is a miracle. When she wandered into my sunporch where she is not allowed, one beep was enough. She scurried back to the living room. I would buy this again and wholeheartedly recommend it.

If the collar would stay on, it would work great!Update: the sellers are trying to pay me $30 to take my review down. Buyer beware!!!!

I desperately needed a training collar like this, since my dog and my daughters dog seem to compete in barking (she relocated with us to another state) it has been a dream so far , especially since I work from home . Thank you , I can keep the two dogs now and not not worry about losing my job!!!!

This collar is a lifesaver for my dog! We have tried a different style in the past, a radius device that only shocks, and my dog is terrified of it. It shocked him so bad that he won't even leave my patio if he has that collar on. But with the PatPet collar we have the option of warning him first with a beep or a vibration and it has worked so much better for us. He is free to roam our 1 acre yard without fear of him running off.

I purchased two. One has stopped working two months after purchase, can't get Amazon or supplier to replace even though it has 1 year warranty.Updated 6/14/21 - After sending multiple messages to the supplier they finally replaced the collar. However, they replaced it with the wrong collar. In the end the replaced collar also stopped working. The issue is that the on off switch is poorly located allowing the button to get chewed on by dogs while they wrestle with each other. The chewing damages the switch. Very bad design. disappointing customer service.Update 6/23/21 - I have have had several more email correspondence with the supplier as they want me to remove my review. However, they have failed to provide working collars. I asked for refund but they will only provide 65% of the refund. They continue to send me an email each day to remove this review which I told them I would do if they refunded the full order or provide collars the do not break after a couple weeks. They have simply replied asking me to remove my review. Asking me repeatedly to remove my review is not customer service trying to solve the problem but rather a company who doesn't care about the terrible product or their customers but is only concerned with their image. As a result, I will be leaving the review!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  We have 2 rambunctious Dalmatian pups (just under 2yrs old) and I have always trusted in these training collars. These dogs are VERY hyper and always want to wrestle, dog, jump up, bark, etc....and these collars even just using the chime/sound button gets their immediate attention and they listen to our commands. I have become very familiar with this company PATPET and their customer service is VERY responsive and provides great support!

Bought for a toy breed dog who like to attack the chickens. This collar has already proven to stop the behavior. Would recommend this to anyone who has a dog that has behavior issues. Before placing on the dog we attached to our arm and went through the shock levels as to not hurt the dog. found level 5 to work on a toy dog.

Wow wow wow. 20 minutes of bad recall and his behaviour shifted immensely. I didn’t have to max out the shock either. After that if he didn’t respond to verbal the beep or vibration was enough.This is more like a tens machine, it causes a muscle jerk but i would not say it hurts in any significant way (I hit myself with it at max, it sucked sure but it didn’t cause pain just a “holy crap what was that” and immense surprise from the effect.)The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is the silicon pads are useless on thick coated dogs, like a husky/shepherd cross. I have to leave the metal bare to have any effect at all. And the remote clip snapped within 10 minutes of use, but the wrist strap is fine anyway.Battery life seems fine, it’ll last a good long while especially since the training effect is so quick.Despite the two problems this is the best $40 I’ve ever spent. I was always wary of off leashing a stubborn dog and this has helped his recall better than I expected.

I have a large mixed breed rescue dog that likes to bark, a lot! I was loosing my mind! He was barking in the car non stop. He would bark at people we drive by, at dogs, at street signs , even at me. So i picked up this training collar impulsively, in hopes for 5 minutes of quiet while in the car. I received it, charged it and put it on him. We went for a car ride and he barked , i gave a verbal warning to stop, he continued to bark , i pressed the beep button, he stopped for a second then barked again. I used the vibration and he stopped . In using the collar for one week it had been night and day. I have used the vibration a few times( only when we see kids on scooters)but usually the beep is enough. ( we will not be using the shock feature). The quiet is amazing!! One week of use and rarely have to use even the beep! Works amazing, great price and fits my large very hairy dog. Thanks for a great product!!!

Received My Patpet Dog training Collar a day earlier than promised. I Immediately set up the collar and put this on our Maltese dog (George).Our dog is very smart with some very bad habits from past owners. He is very protective of me and growls and nips when people approach me. He is also a barker when he hears outside noises or when we have visitors. knocking at the door. With the use of just the beep mode our dog will immediately come running to me in all situations so far. When he is not listening all I have to do is use the remote to beep the collar.We have used the collar in these situations...while in our yard George decided he was going into a neibours yard 2 doors down, I called him to return with no response, one beep on the Patpet and he came running back to my side.Another occasion George and I were playing together in the house, my wife approached us and the dog was growling at her, he would not stop until I beeped the collar. There have been countless times where George has heard noises outside or people have knocked at the door, one beep of the button and he will stop.We had recently purchased another training collar without a remote, when the collar picked up on Georges barking he would stop, however that collar would not always hear or pick up on his barking. Also without the remote we were not able to help train him on his other bad behaviors.We have only had our new collar for a few days and already the difference in our George is day and night. He is no longer growling when people approach our space, he is barking very little when he hears sounds or when company comes, he is now just letting out a gentle Ruff when he hears something rather than loud constant barking.My wife generally has a half hour nap after work, she said this is her first nap without interruptions from George since we have had him for roughly four months. George is 4 Y/O now, he has been with other owners for over 3 years.So far very happy we have purchase this training collar, we are also very happy he is responding to the beeps rather than the vibrate or zap mode.I will update in another month or so as to how this collar is performing. Happy in Ontario.

The remote became faulty after the second use. Lucia, Amazon Product Support was my agent when I called. She walked me through the trouble shooting and then stayed with me on the line when she connected to the company customer support. The manufacturer representative was testy, abrasive and impatient. Nothing was resolved or even addressed. After that short 1 minute call, Lucia swiftly issued me a refund of the product. Thank you Lucia!

Got this for our second puppy to control her barking and fighting behaviour at the dog park. I recently got in trouble in the neighbourhood because of her barking at random people. The collar works very well, she stopped barking. I use it on the lowest setting as she’s a tiny puppy. We didn’t notice any scarring or damage on her neck. The remote works well, great for using at dog parks where she roams free.
