This item does what it says it will. Out completely seals the whole on the roof and because of its design, it makes sure that no water or moisture gets in. Make sure you apply adhesive to get it to stick to the roof and apply silicone to make sure you have a good seal and then put your shingles. I got these and the kwick brand ones. These are much sturdier and also have a wood only backing in the middle making them easier to nail shingles too

These work great. Have used before, and after hurricanes last fall ordered more. However, after moving shingles the limbs had damaged larger section of wood so couldn’t use. But keeping for next time I need.

I bought the 8”x8” version. Of course after removing some roofing material my existing hole was 10 inches long. (I was filling the hole where a no longer needed gas water heater vent pipe went through the roof. I switched to an electric water heater.) I like the product, but recommend if you’re just guessing on what size to purchase, get the 12”x12” one as they’re the same price.

This little patch is a lifesaver, no need to remove a large section of shingles to replace an entire sheet of plywood. Just take off 3-4 rows 4ft wide and cut the hole to size based on the patch, install the patch, caulk and reinstall shingles. Bingo Bongo Done

I used this to fix a small approximately 1” hole in the roof and I’m very satisfied with the results. It’s very sturdy, to the point where I felt very confident walking on it after it was put in.

I saw this item on YouTube. It worked as intended and patched the hole in my roof. I was able to stand on it without issues as well.
