I can use my boom box now that I have a power supply that works again. The old one was lost which happens too frequently.

We bought this for use with a Sony ZS-X1 boombox. This AC adapter provides the correct voltage and has adequate current capability, but it creates a lot of electrical noise that produces "static", especially when listening to the AM band. The device is working properly, but it must use a relatively high switching frequency and doesn't have enough electrical filtering to keep the noise from getting into the player. I don't believe the seller is at fault, as this is a fairly difficult parameter to measure. I believe it's more of a consequence of a newer technology adapter being used with an older device. It does make radio so noisy that it isn't very enjoyable to listen to.

Turned my old useless boombox from over a decade ago into a useable outdated boombox. Actually, the sound is pretty good and I've got a stack of old CDs to cycle through it.

Mine works fine, but while it is charging, it gets so hot you won't want to touch it. Once your laptop is charged, the unit cools down. The wires don't get hot, just the charging unit.

Works for Sony Babycall Monitor NTM-910. Great monitor but had a cord damaged, this fit, works perfect now for two months.
