I'm always afraid to order nuts online, especially if they are already sliced (increased oxygen exposure means higher likelihood of oxidation, ie, rancidity). I was in a pinch and unable to obtain from my usual trusted organic source quickly, and took a chance on this brand. I so appreciate fresh stock, without any smell of rancid oils! (my family grew nuts, I know the difference)..."Yupik Nuts, Organic, Natural Sliced Almonds" was a pleasant surprise.

The almonds were soft and stale at the same time. They are the worst almonds I have ever bought. Poor quality. Not a good value (at all).

I am an almond lover.I add sliced almonds daily to everything from salads to stir-fried vegetables to yogurt. I especially like that this product is organic and contains no dangerous chemicals. When I receive my package, I lightly toast the nuts in the toaster and then pack them in small Mason jars for storage.
