Good body, very poor straps and zipper, and mysterious strings
First, the good. The top and bottom main panels are wide, deep and strong. I like that and know that it will hold even a large laptop well. The pockets and pen/utility loops are good too.Next, the bad. The sewn on velcro straps -- let's see, 2 matching pair on the back for attaching to the car seat, and 2 matching pair (one pair on each side of the interior), and the fabric side-wings have velcro along their bottom edges that match with a too narrow strip of matching velcro strips along the furthest interior edges.I can only guess that someone made a (possibly poor) judgment call as to where to place the exterior seat attachment straps so that all cars have a shot of making them work. My tip is to use the lowest pair first, over the neck rest posts, and cinch it tight so the whole unit raises up high on the seat-back. Then attach the second/upper pair of straps around the same posts and tight as well. But it's a mess and the straps are in odd, almost reversed, orientation as to what would've made it easier. In my experience w/ them. The interior velcro straps are even a bigger mystery and mess and takes lots of fidgeting and testing and pulling apart and retrying to even get a barely passable arrangement. I'm still not happy with the interior straps, and they too are very oddly oriented, opposite how I would've sewn them in.But wait there's more included in the kit: 2 very long cords/strings with completely unknown purposes. Seriously, what are two 4' long cords for? WE SHALL NEVER KNOW -- BUAHAHAHAAHAHA!!I suspect by the time I'm done tweaking the install, I'll have made my own attachments -- something beefier and better arranged.Don't want to forget to mention the very lame and ultra-thin cheap zipper. It's very poorly sewn to the body of the unit, especially at both zipper ends where you wind up with a super vulnerable flimsy gap that just begs to get torn out.All that said, I'll make do with this -- I really like the main body, but hate the velcro straps and zipper. I'll tweak the heck out of this, and won't even use the zipper, but instead a couple of office clamps to close it up.

Bought for kids for a road trip
they liked them alright, but the zippers on them are "off" so it makes it hard to zip up quickly, you kind of have to fight with it...after that...they were useful for electronics and food stuffs while we were on a 20 hour road trip . convenient for the kids (other than zip closure)

Excellent small, portable desk
I purchased this item to use while designing a bullet journal for myself. I ordered another product similar to this which is much larger and can be attached to the wall in order to create a desk that folds down when you want to use it as a desk. This item is very much like that item but much smaller and easier to use. I keep my ruler, pens, pencils, stickers and stencils inside so that I can zip close and take with me when I want to work on my journal away from home. When home, I open on my bed and everything is right there for me

Nothing to hold bottom down
There is only a strap to attach the top of this to the seat. This makes it extremely unsturdy to use. I would NOT put a drink or laptop on this whole driving, which Was the whole point of this product.

Does the job
Didn't receive the one pictured. Mine did not have the slots for drinks and pencils. Its also really hard to zip and unzip. My 6yo cannot do it by himself. Other than that it held his tablet and food on our road trip just fine

Made it work
It worked well as food tray for road trip. You can't garuntee it will lay flat once it's attached to head rest (hangs down back of seat from headrest) so the stability and angle of tray is iffy. It will do in a pinch but don't expect it to hold a drink. It might be possible to make it more sturdy but I couldn't tell you how. Maybe duct tape? Some organizing pockets with little give in their elastic bands didn't leave much room for toys or extras but it held my sons iPad (flatness of device made it fit fine) but a large or round object wouldn't

Makes a good table for kids.
I bought this for my 2 and 4 year olds for a trip to Georgia from Central Illinois. We have not taken our trip yet but I did put them in my car and I think they will work perfect for my 4 year old as shes already used it to hold cereal and her stuffed animals. My 2 year olds arms are not quit long enough to reach but I think if I move the seat back closer to him he could use a portion of it.

Decent for the price.
Had a bit of trouble with the zipper but it did work okay for my kids to use their laptops in the car on a trip.
