Could this be a game for teen girls, or is more aimed at children?

I think it's more for teen girls because to progress through the game you must be able to enter contests and be able to put specific types of outfits together as well as find specific outfits and garments for people in your shop. I'm a teen girl and I love it! I have younger cousins that like to play it, however they really can't progress very far in the game.

Does this game work on north american 3dses? because from what i understand the style savvy games weren't released for na until the 3rd one?
