Ok, so here's the deal with these lederhosen. I read all the reviews on this product where some people said to order one size up, two sizes up and some said they fit fine and some said they fit small and then got broken in over time. Here's what I did: I live in the US and wear size 34 pants across all pant lines (slacks, suits, levis, shorts) so I ordered size 34 lederhosen and then, just to be save, i also ordered size 36. The end result is that the size 34 lederhosen were just too small. I wore them around the house all day and they just never became comfortable. It's possible that they would have gotten broken in after days or weeks of wearing, but lederhosen is something i plan to wear infrequently. The size 36 fit me perfectly. I would anticipate that some time over the next few years they may break in become slightly loose, but with the suspenders, and undershirt and a button down i don't forsee an issue. The lederhosen is really good quality and the seller has been wonderful to work with. Order one size up and you'll be good to go.

These lederhosen are top quality! Many have stated that you have to order up numerous sizes to have these fit. I disagree, what you do need to do is have accurate measurements of yourself and not go by the size on your pants. My experience was that I initially ordered the 36 based on these recommendations and it was way too large, so I returned it for the 34 (50), which fits perfectly. I am 5'11", 155. 33" waist, 37" hips, 22" quads. I normally wear 32 pants due to the way that they are vanity sized. I can't wear any "skinny fit" type jeans or pants due to years of bike racing, hiking, weight lifting, Army infantry, life etc. that has put muscle on my quads and gluts. With the fit of these, I can squat, stretch and move normally. They actually feel great! I highly recommend these lederhosen as a quality product that you can really wear and move in (like they were originally used for).

Being one emplyed as a salesman of very high-end retail clothing for more decades that I will admit, I can truly say I was pleasantly suprised with the quality of this garment.With regard to fit, experience has taught me to always size up, because it is best to have a garment taken in than letting it out should the clothing item need adjustments to the initial fit. Secondly, and probably more important, your true measurements must be accurate. Skin measurements are the best. While measuring, never pull the tape too tight ( the numbers will look better when pulled too tight) but the product you recieve will lead to unnecessary aggravation when you try it on. Next, DO NOT rely on you jean size or the size of trousers you have worn for years, the waist band, seat and yes the crotch seams have stretched to accomodate your shifted dimensions.In closing, my advice is to lose the ego when taking your measurements, size up by a factor of 1 (2"), and you will celebrate the upcoming Octoberfest as a happy camper! I'm 6'2˝& 178 lbs. I wear a 32 in jeans so I ordered the size 34 lederhosen. When I first put them on they where so tight I thought about sending them back, but a 36 wasn't available. I wore these things every night watching TV, walking the dog, and even wore them to bed a couple of nights!! They are definitely broken in now. Still a little tight around the hips ,& knees & can't really use the front pockets for much, but putting my fists into the pockets and crouching down is helping loosen them up a bit! Not super comfortable sitting down, but that might stretch a little too.Over all, they are made super good, and strong. Not a costume look.Getting more broken in a little every day.

These are legit! Great for Octoberfest and such. Keep in mind that these are leather - like 100% leather carved right off the cow - so they don’t stretch. If you’re use to stretchy skinny jeans, hipster...these ain’t gonna stretch. So be sure to buy your actual size and not think “oh well if they stretch I can wear a size smaller” - whatever snowflake ain’t happening. Buy your size. You don’t have to get a size up, unless you’re on the fence on how they’ll fit...then definitely buy a size up. Designs are awesome - looks authentic - great product!!

I bought these for my boyfriend and we had to return the first order because they run small even though we ordered up one size. We ended up sizing up two sizes so they would not be too tight on him. They offered free returns which was amazing since we anticipated we might have to return them from other reviews. The Lederhosen them self are well made and once we found the right size fit well. My boyfriend looked amazing.

The Lederhosen arrived promptly, but were just a bit too snugg (maybe it's me). These appear carefully hand made, so sizing may vary slightly. The fabric quality and stitching is exceptional. Heavy weight to the fabric makes me think it's far superior to costume quality. Worked with Markus in customer support... super responsive and helpful. Answered my many questions quickly.

Great quality product. As others mentioned, go up a size when buying. I am normally a 34, and the 36 fit a little snug. Again, great product considering most Lederhosen is made cheaply and still almost costs the same.
