Thursday Cottage - Blood Orange Marmalade 340g

I bake a alot of cupcakes l need some did different jams and l use the jam with icing sugar its so nice sweet and sour taste love it l bought 3 jars l keep one jar at work for toast and jam love it.

Definitely recommend full of orange tastes great I’m on my third jar and will purchase again.

Very very nice flavour and lovely thick but soft shreds of orange peel. A little expensive but quality product. Would buy regularly if a little cheaper. Can't fault the product though

Our favourite marmalade, thanks

Have been buying this marmalade, in batches of 4, for some time. Not cheap, but usually good quality. In past, have given 5 stars. However, We have opened 2 of the current batch & both have been thinner & runnier than usual. Will see what the other 2 jars are like & if they are the same, we may have to consider looking elsewhere. Are Thursday Cottage cutting their costs at they expense of quality?

Sadly not happy with this product... I did send a message via Amazon but never received a reply which is quite poor in terms of customer service. The marmalade arrived with the main 'jam' like a pillar in the centre of the jar floating in watery syrup.. Considering this is quite expensive for a jar of marmalade, I was expecting something really good but, sadly, not that great... In the end I opened it and stirred it to mix the fruit and syrup - I wanted to see what it tasted like.. Its OK but, honestly, nothing special for the money.

Best bought marmalade I have come across - if you don't make your own marmalade (or can't get a friend to make it for you - this is the next best thing!

Why did you choose this product over others?: Gorgeous flavour - and no horrible Enumbers or icky sweeteners. Really is like homemade - not least 'cos it's just a tad runny enough - doesn't taste the least bit 'factory made'. And perfectly affordable ... does not retail at about £10 a jar ... made in the UK, not somewhere very 'sort of royal' in the posh bit of LA ...

Eine erstklassige Blutorangen-Marmelade mit der genau richtigen Konsistenz und Zusammensetzung. Der besonders hohe Anteil an bissfesten Orangen-Fruchtschnitzeln in gut erkennbarer Größe und die geschmackvolle, feste Marmelade dazwischen, sowie die zurückhaltende Süße und die genau ausgewogene Fruchtsäure im aromatischen Gegensatz machen jede Feinschmecker-Zunge sofort gewogen. Schon beim Öffnen des Glases fühlt man sich an den Geruch eines wohlgefüllten Orangenfruchtkorbes mitten auf dem Frühstückstisch erinnert. Mit einem leicht gesüssten, säurearmen Kaffee (ideal ein kaltgerösteter brasilianischer Santos mit etwas dunklem Mauritius Rohrzucker und nicht homogenisierter, vollfetter Heumilch), dazu eine fluffige Butter-Brioche, oder auch eine luftige Scheibe frischer Hefezopf, eventuell mit Rosinen, darauf größzügig, nicht zu cremige Süßrahmbutter und darauf dann die Thursday Cottage Blutorangen Marmelade in Klecksen mit dem Löffel aufgetragen - in keinem Fall mit dem Messer dünn aufgestrichen - machen jedes Frühstück zum Fest für Nase, Zunge und Gaumen. Unbedingt empfehlenswert! Und das Allerbeste: In dieser Marmelade ist nichts drin, was einem schon beim Lesen der Zutatenliste jeglichen Appetit verdirbt. Auch der Preis passt 100%. Jeder Cent ist ausgezeichnet angelegt!
