Shed doors now stay open
Mounted 1 each at the top inside of the steel doors. Holds door open and closed. Been working great for a few weeks now, only concern is how well they tolerate winter temperatures.

No instructions
I wish it had come with some instructions rather than just pictures on the plastic. Other than that, I’m happy with them.

Excellent for smashing little, and big, fingers
Bought these as a soft-close hinge (as advertised), for a toy box, 1) absolutely lousy install directions on the Amazon site, and seemingly cryptic printed directions on the plastic packaging, all in metric (we didn't cover the metric system when I was in high school, but thankfully Siri had the answers); 2) and most important for those ordering for a soft-close hinge -- THIS IS NOT SOFT-CLOSE, SO COUNT YOUR FINGERS BEFORE AND AFTER OPENING AND CLOSING THE LID; 3) If you're looking for gas struts for hold-open lifts these would most likely be for you! Definately not what I thought the product would be.

Damaged because of poor packaging
I will not make the mistake of buying these again, the it's are poorly packaged which could have led to 1 of the 2 I purchased being broken. I installed the remaining 1 on a small cabinet so 1 was enough but I've been told using just 1 over time could possibly destroy the door frame.

Brackets did not hold up to half of weight limit.
