Complete. Best . Affordable
This brush set is one of the most complete set. Starting from flat kabuki brush to foundation brush. With perfect creeze brush and blending brush for both face and eye.I use these on a regular basis and wash it regular too. I haven't noticed any shredding. The only back draw that it comes with a cotton pouch and not in a case. So if you wanna case you might have to arrange one.But in this price product is upto the mark so the case is negligible. If you are beginner or you are not a makeup artist but a pro in makeup close your eyes and buy it.

Long lasting brushes
I've had these brushes for almost four years now, and they were a great buy. The cost was really reasonable, and I use them regularly. The little chunky one is a great size to fit in my mobile makeup bag and gets a work out with liquid foundation every single day - it's gone through countless washes with no loss of brush hair, and always cleans up like new. Recommend.

Love them - they DON'T look cheap!
I'm not a makeup brush aficionado, but I thought these were really nice. I was primarily concerned about quality, especially of appearance, when I bought these, but don't worry. The bamboo handle is sturdy, has a clear grain, and is coated in a nice, thick, hard, clear varnish. It looks very authentically wooden. The metal parts of the handle look real and are pretty thick - not super cheap aluminum foil-looking junk. The bristles themselves are synthetic, so they have a shine similar to Barbie hair. They don't feel like barbie hair, though. I was worried about this before I bought them, but in person it isn't an issue. The shape and coloration of the bristles make up for any sheen-they don't look cheap.Like everyone has said, the bristles are SUPER soft. They aren't the greatest with picking up product, but they're magnificent at not wasting any. I'd prefer to have to swipe a few times rather than swipe once but waste lots of my makeup. My makeup went on incredibly smoothly- better than with other brushes I've used. The brushes are all pretty dense- I was pleasantly surprised. The small Kabuki isn't very dense, but the big Kabuki really is. I think that was on purpose so you could have a really light finishing brush. As far as the smell goes, I didn't find it overwhelming unless I practically stuck the brush up my nose-which I don't suggest you do. They came with a tiny manual that suggested soaking the brushes in warm water and shampoo for ~30 minutes to get rid of any lingering smells from the factory, which I did. The baggie they come with is a simple cotton drawstring. It isn't really sturdy, but is effective. Plus, you aren't buying this set for the bag, you're buying the brushes.Additionally, these were shipped from Kentucky, not China, in case you were worried about that kind of thing.I've only used these a couple of times, but I really like them and they seem built to last. Plus, you can't beat this price!

Ordered: January 26 2015Received: February 26 2015Delivery Estimate:19 Feb - 9 March 2015Price: 11.99 + free shippingDestination:From China(facility) to Canada(my home)Seller: MY LIFEBristles: synthetic taklonVery soft, no animal hairSmell: -before wash:It smelled a little bit like plastic and glue but I personally don't smell my brushes so I don't mind. :)-After wash (used diluted Dr. Bronner's magic soap in Lavender):No longer has a scent + with makeup it will kinda smells like makeup hahabamboo handle:-some are a little bit bulkier-steady and glazed-different sizes-yellowy light wood looking colorOutside packaging:-Came in an off-white colored pouch, great for travelingPowder brush: oval shape, great for blush, setting powder, bronzer, blending...Pencil brush: round and pointy, great for bottom lash line, highlight on inner corners, other detailed areasFlat paddle foundation brush: liquid or cream foundation, my favorite paddle brush!! All of my other paddle brushes leave streaks, even my Real Techniques one! But this one is very soft, flexible and great for blending!Fluffy eye blending brush:Great for blending eyeshadow on the crease. It kind of has an awkward length, it has long bristles so it's very flexible. So I would use this to create a wash of color and to blend.Bigger fluffy blending brush:Great for contour, concealer, maybe a little too big for the eyes but you can try :) perfect in between size.Small flat brush: great for concealer, very flexible, great to pat eyeshadow onto lids...Short powder/blush/bronzer brush: very dense, perfect for loose makeup too.Angled Shader brush: great for eyeshadow on the lid, crease, brow bone, conturing the nose, etc.Flat top Kabuki: dense enough to blend foundation, great for buffing in loose powder, foundation, etc.Angled brush: great for eyebrows, gel eyeliner, eyeshadow on bottom lash line...Smallest flat top kabuki: less dense than flat top kabuki, great for blending, great for touchups.General rating: I would really give this a 10/10 because there's barely anything wrong with this kit! My favorites are the angled eyeliner brush and the paddle foundation brush.I know this was a long review oups ^.^Thanks for reading, have a great day :)
