DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!! The case exploded while sitting on top of my son's pants. The phone was NOT charging at the time. This was a Christmas gift, so it is only a few months old. This product is dangerous!!!

I accidentally broke my previous battery case and thought I would experiment with a different design. This one compares favorably with my previous one - is lighter and slimmer while holding a somewhat longer charge. I'm really happy with it so far and the product seems durable and solid. A big plus for me since I broke my last one.Update: After a month and a half, the charging port is super loose and going bad. It's probably only a matter of time before it loses connection completely.

This arrived today. A little back story... I was given this iphone. It would not hold a chargeI ordered this kit and a new screen which hasn't arrived yet. I tested this battery with my old screen and it works as it should. The kit includes everything you need to replace the battery. The disassembly, install, and test took about 15 minutes total. The kit has everything you need. The only thing I would advise is that you have a mat that contrasts the color of the screws to keep them organized. I did it on a dark wood table and spent more time trying to find screws then I did actually working.

This is a great charging case for your iPhone! Since getting it I haven’t actually plugged my phone in to charge. I charge the case while using the phone and then put the case on and it charges the phone back up. I just repeat the process and I’m no longer tethered by the charging cord really. To put the case on and off you need to slide the phone in at an angle. If you make too great an angle you risk breaking the charging port so don’t go further than a 15-20 degree angle or so. Overall it’s a great case and works very well. Recommended buy!

UPDATE: So I ordered two replacement batteries after the first two failed to charge after one day. Of the two, one charged for one day, but it wouldn't charge the second night. The second one lasted about 5 days before it failed to take a charge. So that's FOUR out of four that failed within ONE WEEK. I can't say it in stronger terms...DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THESE BATTERY CASES!!I ordered two of these for our iPhone 6s. They seemed to work great at first, but I wasn't sure one of them was charging the first night. After a full day of use, I tried charging them, and neither of them would charge!Have ordered replacements/exchanges. We'll see...

Wish it came in more fun colors, but this pack is stellar. Smooth and of course adds bulk like any battery case but keeps the overall profile of the iPhone the same which is nice. I like being able to control when the battery kicks in and could charge it separately if needed. Like most battery cases, I suspect after a few times in and out the little charger pin would be too bent and break off but I really haven't had to take it out for any reason. Not sure how to differentiate between the iPhones exactly iPhone 6 vs 6S or whatever, I wish they would just say on the case for crying out loud, but this battery case kept my camera available. Another case I had for the same phone partially blocked the camera which was really annoying. Perfect for extending my long work days when I often run low around 3 or 4pm.

Extended the battery life of my iPhone 7 dramatically. I’ve never used the portable battery chargers because they are a hassle but this one is great because it is literally built into the phone case! So brilliant. There is a power button for the case on the back so it is only charging your phone when you ask it to. A lot of reviews said it was super thin so I expected it to be thinner than it is. But it is as thin as I think could be possible for a case that includes an additional battery. Still super easy to put in and out of pockets so the extra thickness (from a regular case) is Not an issue and totally worth the benefit of keeping your phone charged for way longer.

This case wasn't my favorite to begin with but, I found it acceptable until it stopped working after a couple months. This might be a good case if it would last. I suspect it quit working as a result of how you're supposed to put your phone in the case. When you slide your phone into the case the metal piece that goes into your charging port on your phone goes in at an angle and makes a cracking sound as it goes in. This case worked fine until I switched cell carriers and had to take my phone out of the case to switch SIM cards. It never worked again after I put it back in. I would recommend this product to someone who likes throwing their money away and receiving inferior products.
