One of my sons has ADHD, and one of the things he struggles with is understanding the way his body communicates to him - so when he has to pee he has to go RIGHT THEN or will have an accident - even though he is well into grade school.We purchased these because more often than not, we will be in the car going somewhere and he will realize he has to go and we are not close to somewhere that has a public bathroom. We were pretty exasperated with having to RUSH and find a bathroom on a regular basis despite him going before we leave home.These have been SO helpful, and they are super easy to use even when in a rush. They fold mostly flat, so they store easily in the pocket in front of his seat in our vehicle. They have the same material that diapers have so they absorb an obscene amount of liquid and zip shut completely so they don’t spill while on the way home to toss in our outside trash bin.Definitely recommend.

These are a must for our cars! Pretty easy for the kids to use if you teach them how and they are a life saver.

I live in Florida and I bought these to put them in our emergency-go-bags. We get hurricanes and sometimes tornadoes.I tested this mini toilet in the bathroom. I am a female and I used it standing up, I had to strip completely from the waist down. You have to have your legs apart. There was not leaking and the soft white fold on the top functions well for a female- there was no splashing. I have seen reviews where other women say you need to practice to use these- I don't understand why. Its super easy. You fill half the bag in one go. The bag fills with two goes. Each urinal bag is gray and it comes with a small white powder bag inside. Just as the instructions say on this Amazon listing, there is no need to open the small white bag. It sits inside and it dissolves on its own. The white powder expands and turns into little beads once it absorbs the humidity. It is only enough to absorb half a bag of liquid. With half a bag of liquid, it all turns semi-solid with no liquid. Its pretty cool. However, if you fill the whole bag with liquid, only half will turn into gel and the rest of the liquid will stay on top. It has a plastic zip-lock type seal at the top and it seals very well.By the way, the instructions that come on the bag are dumb. They tell you that after you use the urinal to seal it and then put it in the storage bag. They do not include any storage bag! There is other nonsense there too, the English is pretty bad. However, it's a straightforward item for which you don't really need instructions.These were 20 for $24.99 on Amazon, including shipping. I received 5 green bags in my package. Each green bag contains 4 urinals inside. I hate that the urinals are not individually packaged. Each green bag has to be cut or ripped to open it and cannot re-close. I am giving this item 4 stars because the urinals are not individually packed and because at $1.25 each I think they are overpriced for something that you will use once and then throw away. However they are still a lot cheaper than the Travel John brand. Travel John is 18 urinals for $35.98 on Amazon, $2 per bag- crazy! I have never tried a different brand and I don't feel like I have to, since these ones serve their purpose well and are cheaper.Please mark my review as useful if it helped you understand this product better.

I buy this brand for our travel needs. It is just the right size,it fits well for male or female and it is very absorbent. It is easy to use and to dispose of. There is no odor, breakage or leakage. I recommend this product.

I am a mother of 3 boys, one never knows when one of them will need to use the bathroom. I ordered these to keep in our vehicles for those instances. They are so easy to use and they work like a champ. Two of our older boys can easily use one bag, fill it up, they don’t leak, don’t smell, and they do turn the urine into gel. I will be ordering more and I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a simple solution for long car-rides.

Can’t be compared to Travel John but it’s function is the same. I had a couple if issues with the product, hence the three star rating. Number one, it takes much longer than seconds for the urine to fully congeal into a gel, like 30 minutes or more. Secondly, the one of the bags secured after use leaked from the seal! Lastly, you’ll need two hands to use them as the top part is very flimsy. Overall not bad. I’d buy them again to save money.

EVERY CAR IN AMERICA needs to have some of these in the glove box! I drive to Los Angeles daily, and with a 2-hour one-way drive home, I am doing the Pee-Pee Dance about 3/4 of the way, because I stay well-hydrated - and I LOTS OF NEED coffee to survive. Now, when they arrive, I strongly recommend a practice run. Not to be graphic but this is my method: FREEWAY USE (MALES): when the call of nature becomes unbearable, 1) simply pull your vehicle into the emergency lane as far as you can. 2) Turn on your emergency flashers ON. 3) Release your seat belt. 4) Unbuckle your belt completely, unbutton your waistband, and lower your zipper fully. 5) hold the bag vertically, separate the flanges at the top fully, and carefully 'execute'. 6) Experience Life-Saving Relief...note that a confident grin will now appear on your face. 7) when finished, be careful to slowly snap the flanges together slider at the top of the bag. go slowly and insure it is closed. The bag contents are already well into the 'GEL Phase'. 8) continue to hold the bag vertically from the top, and simply place it into the door bottle holder, or a cup holder. This whole process will take under one minute. CITY STREETS: pull into a fast food or other high-turnover parking lot and pull as far away as you can from the entrance, and all parked vehicles. Proceed as above.

Best for toddler boys. Long trips, or lack of immediate washroom or clean washroom around, i.e. parks or stores. Saved so many moments of wet pants.

Functionally very well thought out product. Looks like each bag can absorb 600ml within its chemical solution which goes into a seemingly crystalline (essentially dry)form you can then zip lock shut and disposed of. Nothing short of brilliant.
