Great for the money
Ok so it’s more like 8,000 grit than 10,000, but it’s only 20 bucks and it’s still 8,000 grit. It was well packed, encased in styrofoam; no storage container, but it was on $20.I tested it with 3 knifes, all had been sharpened and honed on an Arkansas black stone. One is a Swiss Army small knife (my splinter digging out tool), one was a cheap $20 knife that gets used hard, and a Keyshaw Blur with a ton to tip. The Swiss Army and Kershaw finished impressively sharp. I tested the Kershaw on my face (Tonto tips are not shaped well for such use), it shaves facial hair. The cheap knife, even with a lower steel quality, still ended up sharper than I’ve ever had it before. For the cost I highly recommend it.

great stone
A few months ago, I dropped and broke my old reliable Arkansas hard stone. This new stone is great for that final finish into razor sharpness. I love it.

This stone rapidly cuts steel parts to result in a polished 10,000 grit finish.
This stone is difficult to use, but it results in a polished, 10,000 grit finish.

Great stone for puttuing the final mirror polished edge on a blade.
I used this stone to finish the final mirror polish on a cpm s1110v blade. Which is one of the most if not the most wear resistant cutlary steels money can buy. I've been hand hoing steel for a little over 50 yrs now. Back then all you had was hand honing with either corundum, or arkansas stones.I've been wanting to experiment with other than diamond hones to get it close. Then stropping to bring it to a mirror finish.I also have a 3 k ruby hone as a next to the last step before using this stone. This nicely made peice of agate hone easily rivals diiamond and stropping with aluminum oxide rouge to get the same results. I would suggest using diiamonds for the highend steel they have today to save time and effort. Then finish with this agate hone. Plus I would also recommend buying the lagerst size of this hone as I see it as much more practicle for honing pocket knives.

Excellent finishing stone
Excellent quality stone for the price, very fine grit, definitely a final hone/polish stone. First test with it, I had a new Swiss army knife that was sharp out of the package but wouldn't quite cut arm hair. About 20-30 strops (each side) on this stone and it shaved like a razor.

Great little oil stone
Seems more like 8000 grit, not a true polishing stone, but easily the best oil stone I have ever used. Touched up a few pocket knives and my kitchen knives and was able to shave with the new edges.

I really like the stone, but it is a little rough around the edges
Started with a slight roughness around the edges,. But I do enjoy it, and it works quite well after you get that roof edge off
