Poster looks beautiful!
Other reviewers were upset by the cheaper construction of this frame. It consists of a thin white cardboard box nested inside a clear acrylic frame. You put the poster in the plastic and push the box inside behind it to nestle the poster in place. You can definitely see the tabs and edges of brown cardboard along the short edges of the box, so keep that in mind if you plan to use this frame horizontally/landscape. I'm using mine for a vertical/portrait image and the long edges are smooth, so I'm not worried about the box showing from the sides.People have also mentioned that, since this frame is partially constructed with cardboard, it doesn't have traditional hardware to hang it. There are cutouts in the back that you can pop out to hang it that I do not plan to use. I think this frame will perform well with some command hanging strips, and if not, I might be able to get away with installing metal hardware in the acrylic.

Simple Paspartu
No-frills paspartu. Replacement for the old one that felt and cracked. The previous one lasted more than 20 years. It's not cheap, however, considering how long it lasted, it owes me nothing.

Good Clean Look for Posters and Such
I am a fan of these frames for larger posters. Normally I go to my local art supply store and get something wooden and then cut a mat. But it gets expensive quickly for large posters. I came to amazon and found this to match another poster I had already framed in one.One note, the insert for this is simply a cardboard "box" -- to keep costs low, which I don't argue with -- take care when attempting to mount several at the same exact height because the nail/screw in the wall can "bite" into the cardboard a little easier than other frame hangers. Might be worthwhile for the manufacturer to reinforce the hanger areas a bit more in the future.

Do you have undamaged frames?
I ordered two 18x24 frames for a design client I am doing two matching custom wall sculptures I am framing. Both were damaged. I had to deliver something so I used the one that was damaged on the corner and created a lining to hide it. The other however had a humongous scuff mark (undetectable through the plastic wrapper). They rushed me a third and I just opened it to finish the project and to use the box to return the other... Well that one has TWO big scratches. Again... This is how it came out of the sealed plastic wrapping. Now I have to return two and I'm worried another replacement will also be damaged as 3 out of 3 have been so far. I am not happy. This has put me in a terrible position with delivering the commission to my Client.

Great little frame. Also good for multipurpose functions; mini serving box/ tray for little things.
Great little frame. Also good as multipurpose mini tray. Good for small things, like office needs: paper clips, and a scissors. Or a mini medication tray for elderly loved ones, medications, q-tips, mouth swabs, etc.

Very simple and as advertised
Very simple solution for a poster or a large drawing. The sides are white (some said brown, but it's white cardboard) it looks simple and clean.

these work great in smaller sizes, but not so great at the 18x24 size
The plastic part is exactly as expected, and my art looks great in the frame. The cardboard backing insert, however, does not work as it is supposed to. It is supposed to press the artwork flat against the plastic front, but since the cardboard is unstable at such a large size it only presses the edges of the artwork flat against the plastic and leaves the middle kind of flopping away from the plastic. I'm going to have to get a few layers of foamboard to really make it work. Also, the cutouts on the back of the cardboard are supposed to allow you to hang it on the wall. Again, this works well for the small sizes of this style of frame, but the weight of an 18x24 frame cannot be supported by a hole in the cardboard!I bought this in a hurry to present one of my ink-on-paper artworks at an informal gallery show. I mostly got it to keep my work from being sneezed on or touched, especially since there were going to be a lot of kids there. For that purpose it worked admirably. But I would not recommend it for professional, formal display. To get such a large frame for such a small price, I was not surprised that there were some hitches in making it work. If you're prepared to improvise to compensate for this product's inadequacies, it's a good deal. But if you want a product that will work perfectly and easily right away, spend the extra money and get something else!
