Lovely but Pilling After a One Hour of Casual Walking
Just received these pants a few days ago. Although they look different from the photo (to be expected as I believe they're all hand-dyed), they're still quite nice. I would have preferred a bit more colour (I bought the ones with the black, white, and brown on them, and there is very little brown plus the black is more of a dark green), but over all I'm quite happy with the fit and appearance of the pants.As for the quality, I am concerned that the pants will not last long. Admittedly my thighs rub together, but usually the tights I buy withstand a few months before pilling up. These ones started to pill up after less than one hour of casual walking (walking to and from class this past Saturday morning). It's pretty disappointing because the white fabric on the thighs is now covered in fuzzy black spots. The fabric does feel a bit thin, too, so I worry that if I try to remove the pills it'll weaken and/or tear the fabric.Long story short, if you are thin and your thighs don't rub together, these pants will probably work really well for you. If your thighs rub together, however, it might be worth looking elsewhere. For reference, I'm 5 foot 4 and a UK 12.
