Great sampler pack to find which one you like!
So here's everything you need to know about this popcorn. They send you 10 different sampler baggies which make about 3 medium sized bowls of popcorn each. It's non-GMO (as are all popcorn kernels from what I've researched). The packaging and the ad don't say anything about being certified as organic, but from what I can tell, it doesn't seem like they use pesticides on their corn. I bought one of those ~$7 silicone popcorn makers on Amazon that goes in the microwave to test this popcorn, and it worked perfectly (no oil or anything else required). I did not use any popcorn toppings in my testing to give as accurate of a description as possible. The following is how each popcorn stacked up, from best to worst:1. Purple: medium diameter, soft and tender, but just slightly more crunchier than the white, a small amount of hull but not bad, the popcorn flavor really comes through, and definitely had the best flavor out of all of them, per the packaging supposedly it's higher in antioxidants2. (A very close second) Baby White: small diameter, soft and tender, little to no hull, neutral flavor3. Medium White: same as baby white but medium diameter4. Ladyfinger: extra small diameter, soft and tender, little to no hull, neutral flavor5. Red: same as purple, but with less popcorn flavor6. Medium Yellow: medium diameter, slightly less soft and slightly more crunchy than the others, more hull noted, slightly more popcorn flavor than the white7. Mushroom: large diameter, pops in a ball, crunchy, but kinda chewy, some hull noted, mild popcorn flavor with a hint of "corn nuts" flavor8. Caramel type: large diameter, crunchy but kinda hard, "caramel type" (ie the type of popcorn they use for caramel popcorn, so not caramel flavored), some hull noted, not the best flavor (prolly why they put caramel on it)9. Blue: medium diameter, crunchy, but not really soft, flavor not the greatest (kind of off putting), some hull but not bad10. Rainbow: just a mix of all of them (put last because every bite was a roll of the dice)If you want the best flavor, go with the purple (I just bought a large bag of this one, and find it doesn't need any salt or butter or anything else to make it taste good). If you want the best texture, go with the baby white (I would recommend at least a little popcorn salt with this one though). Or buy the sampler and have fun trying all the different kinds to find which one you like best. I used to buy the bags of microwave popcorn, until I researched the ingredients and found some pretty gnarly stuff in them, so I bought a giant handle of the Orville Redenbacher's popcorn kernels (thinking it would be healthier), and instantly tossed it due to the pesticides on it making me feel bad afterwards (you can feel the pesticides coating the inside of your mouth after you're done, even if you rinse out your mouth with water). Nothing like that at all with the Amish Country ones. This is the only popcorn I will ever buy again. The Amish definitely know their corn. Weird Al Yankovic approves ;)Did you find this review helpful?

A nice variety pack of 10 different options/flavors, a little underwhelmed though
We thought we would venture into the realm of fancy-schmancy popcorn since, really, what else are we going to do during this covid pandemic. After years of eating Jiffy-pop brand kernels and Orville Redebacher kernels, we figured we'd treat ourselves. However, the Amish Popcorn company sells a large variety of gourmet popcorn kernels and frankly we had no idea what we would really like, and couldn't agree on a certain type, so this variety pack was great for sampling.Contrary to what others have experienced, my package arrived intact and in one piece. So kudos to Amazon for great packaging. There are 10 different bags of popcorn in the pack, and each is individually labeled. Each pack is a 4 oz bag, which is about 1/2 cup of kernels. That's enough for a very generous helping for our family of 4 popcorn eating maniacs. So far, we're half way through the sample pack and have not experienced very many old maids. We pop over the stove in coconut oil and have been happy with the output and freshness of the kernels. It's interesting to try the different types, but I'm the tiniest bit disappointed that there really isn't all that dramatic of a difference in taste/flavor between the different strains. They all taste great, but it's not like a kaleidoscope of flavors that I was hoping for. Are they that much better than the generic stuff in your grocery store? I'm not sure. We pop our kernels in coconut oil and sprinkle Flavacol to get that movie theater popcorn flavor, so maybe that's masking some of the nuances, but it's not like it's a 100 fold difference in taste or quality or texture to justify the extra cost. The one strain with the most obvious difference is the Ladyfinger, which makes popcorn about half the size of normal. Cute, and very novel at first, but taste is nothing special since it's just like normal popcorn and due to its small size, was in the end actually kind of annoying to eat. It's like a bowl full of popcorn runt pieces.Maybe if we just did airpop and were just tasting the popcorn itself without any additional flavorings we'd stay with the Amish popcorn brand, but for us, I wasn't convinced this is where I'm spending additional money. So while we've enjoyed our short foray into the bourgeois popcorn world, we're probably going back to buying the Orville Redenbacher stuff from the grocery store.

Taste and variety
Popcorn was very fresh and tasty. The variety of different types of corn was satisfying. Nice small sized sample bags but enough for a big bowl of popped corn and then some depending on the size of your popping machine. I would definitely order this again!

Super fun, interesting and pops well
This has been quite fun. Who knew there were so many types of corn to pop? I can't say we like any one more than any other so far, but the variety has been fun. The corns pop well in our air popper ... and we've recently started drizzling truffle oil over the bowl. So tasty and a fun, high-fiber treat.

A nice gift
The popcorn was an Easter gift for a friend. She was very happy with the selection of different types of corn. It is nicely packaged and is a great small gift.

Disappointed
Either my Amish Popcorn is not up to snuff, old etc or I have lost my ability to pop corn like I have been doing for 60 plus years! I have tried the silicone popper I bought with the popcorn and tried my air popper, also. There is about 1/2 that won’t pop in either scenario. I kept on with the attempt to pop to the point of burning the silicone! I am disappointed and thought about sending it all back but it is too much trouble! I wasn’t gonna leave a review but this popped up (pun intended) in my email so there ya have it.
