Nice size
My husband uses this to bring food to last him throughout his work day. It's a nice size, both the overall size and the arrangement of the compartments. We haven't experienced any leaking. (Haven't packed soup or anything. ) It seems very well made.

Excellent!
It does exactly as it claims. I love that its not plastic and leaking chemicals in to my food or making it taste different.

The item was broken. See the attached photos. The material is very cheap and weakly made.

Small Containers, Seal Well
The significant other's first comment when she opened the shipping box is that these containers are smaller than she thought. Forget about holding all that leftover stuffing from Thanksgiving because these containers are too small for that, perhaps even using all three containers. Even so, these 18/8 stainless steel containers appear to be well-made and the BPA-free silicone lids seem to seal tightly. The three containers are 400 ml or 13.7 ounces, 700 ml or 24 ounces, and 950 ml or 32.5 ounces. These containers appear perfect for holding a small quantity of food, apparently including liquid food such as soup. We tried shaking closed containers filled with water and observed no leaks. The finish on the containers is fairly smooth, but rough enough for the silicone lids to grip well for sealing. The upper lip is nicely rolled to prevent damage to the lid when installing and removing it from the containers, as well preventing lacerations to fingers and hands. One marvelous feature of these containers is that they nest inside each other for storage. The same goes for the lids. One problem with modern technology is that we have lots of dishes, containers, pots, pans, and the like, so that storage space is at a premium. Having nesting containers minimizes the space used by the containers, which neatly fit into other containers we own.Of course, it goes without saying that these container are dishwasher safe. Stainless steel and silicone are among the least reactive food-grade materials and, for now, are not known to cause any issues with humans. Further, stainless steel is durable and recyclable. Our assessment of value is average to below average, at least for now, because these containers are not eligible for Amazon Prime and the shipping cost drives the price up. Without the cost of shipping, these containers would be of average value. These containers allegedly have a lifetime guarantee, though our experience with such guarantees is that we never make use of them. While a lifetime guarantee theoretically drives the value up, typically shipping is not included so it turns out that it is easier just to buy another item, unless the value of the item is extremely high. Our overall rating is five stars. The workmanship is excellent and the lids seal liquids. Add in that the containers and lids nest, and these containers are great for storage of small quantities of food. Now, if we could just get containers larger than the present containers, and if the larger containers would permit the smaller containers to nest inside, how great would that be?Enjoy!

great containers, surprisingly effective lids
I prefer using stainless or stainless steel containers in my fridge rather than plastic, for the durability and so I don't have to worry about BPA/etc. The lids on these are surprisingly more effective/tight than most of my plastic/Tupperware lids; I had assumed they'd mostly just sit on top of the container but they do provide a surprisingly good seal. That said, I'm realizing I have a slight preference for glass over stainless steel because then you can *see* what's inside your container while it's in your fridge, so you don't have to remember (or open each container to see). Still, these are good containers if you're OK with that drawback

Very practical and super well made food storage
Like almost everyone, I guess, I have a kitchen full of plastic storage containers and lids. The trouble is that I spend half of my time looking for lids that match the containers--such a waste of time! One of the things I like about these is that it's very obvious what the lid matches. I know that seems like a small concept, but it saves me a lot of time. Also, in terms of health and durability, I just really like storing things (like fruit salad or egg salad) in a steel container. The containers will last forever and the lids fit perfectly. When not in use these are a lot easier to stack too because they nest inside one another. These might be a bit on the pricey side, but they're going to last forever.

Durable, useful for food and other "stuff"
I'm using this set for items in my cabinets that I'd been storing in their original plastic bags, which occasionally come open and spill. First off, after washing the bowls and silicone lids in the dishwasher, I transferred a bag of brown sugar into the largest bowl. It's so much easier to measure from these bowls than the bag. I'm using another for pine nuts, and the smallest one is in the non-junk drawer holding the wine-bottle toppers. The 18/8 grade steel is sturdy and smooth, and strong enough for storage. I filled the medium-size bowl with water, put the lid on, turned the bowl upside down, and shook it hard. The lid stayed on securely, and there was no leakage. For me, the only downside, possibly, is not being able to see what's inside each container. I have a package of removable file file labels that purpose.
