SHOX Snap-On Wheelchair Tire - 24" x 1" (540mm) - Grey

tires are awesome or so they appear to be . but i can't find anywhere that will install them on the mag. so i only gave three because its too hard to get it done. they are so stiff i can't stretch them at all.

Could not get it to fit though I got the size that was on the previous wheel.

I'm very disappointed in this item. I ordered 24" and it says it is 24" but even with the aid of a local bicycle shop this item did not come near to fitting my wife's wheelchair. Certainly not 24" (her wheel is 24x1)

Unfortunately Amazon did not know when these would be in stock and I had to buy them someplace else but in case anyone else is interested here is my experience with these tires. I got them to replace Schwalbe Marathon tires that were very bald. I need the high pressure rated tires because they decrease the rolling resistance and make pushing your wheelchair easier. A local bicycle shop installed my tires as they have most of my tires for years. They are rated at 110 psi and feel like about 85 psi which is still better than the standard pneumatics and they do not require the maintenance of keeping air pressure topped up. I gave them a 4 not a 5 because they feel more like 85 than 110psi to me. On the whole I would get them again. Just wish they had been in stock here.

I ordered red ones and it was all wadded up. I thought the tire would never work; but it did! It took 4 people to get it on, but now it is not going anywhere. I am very pleased with these tires! I hope to order yellow ones soon.
