it's OK
The tool works OK, but not great. First, the metal edge of the guide had a tendency to dig into the edge of the drywall, so I had to bevel the edge to prevent that. Second, even with the blades adjusted as close together as possible, it still would barely work at all with 1/2" drywall. It was OK for slightly scoring the line, but the cuts had to be finished with a knife. Still, it saved some time in laying out the lines to cut. I had to trim 1/2" off the end of about 60 sheets. I got the job done OK with this, but i really should have taken it apart and elongated the adjustment slots so the blades will come closer together to work how they are supposed to. If you're working with less than 1/2" drywall, this probably won't work at all without modification. For 5/8" and thicker, it will probably work OK as-is.

Very helpful tool
I'm not a professional drywall installer; I am just finishing a single room in my basement. (After this, I hope to never work with drywall again!...)Accordingly, I don't have the full complement of professional drywall tools. There might be a better way to trim an inch or so off a piece of drywall, but this tools works great for me. Much easier than trying to use a utility knife and snap off.

Junk
It barely marks 5/8" drywall with the cutters all the way in. The adjustment bolt is held in by a wood thread lag bolt that pulled out of the hole (probably an oversized hole). It lasted for less than a small 3 bedroom apartment and pulled out. We had to cock it sideways to make it work. I either have to return it or make my own handle with a proper anchor for the adjustment bolt. I also have to modify the cutter adjustment slots to be able to narrow down the cutters to actually work as intended. It appears the adjustment clamp is too wide as there is a space between the metal frame and the wooden guide bar. Great idea, but needs some re-engineering to make it work properly and hold up to real work. We have 2-3 months of work to do on the apartment complex and have to rip every bottom sheet 3/4" to make room for the added flooring on the remodel. We need something that will work and hold up to the task.

Does not cut
This item does not cut drywall...it only scores it and you still have to cut it with a knife. It's not worth the hassle of ordering. Plus the description says free shipping and free returns for Prime members...this is false! I was charged to send it back and I am a prime member!! So sick of Amazon items stating free returns but it really isn't!!

Don't try to overscore the boards
I have owned a few of these in 35 years . this one looks pretty sturdy . They are good for 1/2 inches to about 4 . After 4 you lose your leverage . 1 handle is kinda worthless . Pro tip you are just scoring the board . you still gotta get the hang if breaking the rock . Pro tip # 2 5/8s is never a walk in the park . you might have to run your knife in the wheel line .

Time saver
Had to cut 3/4" off of every bottom sheet for an entire house. Anybody who has tried this by hand with a knife knows what a mess it is. Small broken pieces and frustratingly slow. Set the wheels for depth, adjusted the amount to be cut and in 1 long pull cut the piece cleanly off. It worked so well that I actually laughed out loud. Very well constructed. I will never cut a long piece under 6" with a knife ever again.

Seemed like a good idea
This product is terrible. Does not do what it implies it will. I would also say that heavy duty is misleading. It is clunky and heavy but very flimsy in practice and doesn't stayed aligned to do a straight cut. .Not much else to say, do NOT recommend this tool!

Arrived broken
Arrived broken. Not sure how that is possible but a wing nut and the locking nut were broken.I would have sent it back but I needed it for work so I scavenged parts off of a Goldblatt model and made it work.

Not a good product.
This drywall tool need to have some work done to it, squeeze together steel handle, thread lock wooden handle, and a few other things to make it cut a piece of drywall 1/2” thick. Poor craftsmanship.
