I found this plate works fine for the Z988 tripod that I order in place ...

Perfect replacement
I have a zomei tripod/monopod and it’s the exact lost part.

Mounting plate was not an exact match for the tripod it was listed to fit
The base fit up had to be altered by enlarging the security pin openings slightly . . . a Dremel and a soft touch did the job . . . this base is of better construction than the original base, just slightly too narrow at the pins requiring a mild retouch to enlarge to allow proper fit-up.

The friction pads were missing in the part that I received. Also, the mounting screw fell apart the first time I used it.
