quality, robust product, with easy to use internal earth terminal

Updated an old lamp and fitted easily working OK

I bought two of these in April 2021 and 4 weeks later I have just thrown both of them away.The ring which screws onto the bulb end of the holder to hold the shade in place is too thin. It only has about three thread. So it is easily cross threaded and very difficult to get finger purcfhase to screw it into place.The spring loaded pins which connect to the base of the lamp have too weak a sping to hold them firnly against the contacts on thr base of the lamp, The lamp would go off for no apparent reason.I cannot recommend these.
