Poor quality a d did not trust it to keep my puppy safe. The stitching at the hook was not finished off properly a d frayed within a week. I abandoned it and bought another one with a leather enclosing the stitching. I would not recommend this lead.

this is not very good for a young playful puppy especially walking close to the roads with high volume traffic. The looses recoil action very easy and there is a long lag from moment the lock is applied to the actual locks.

Lead extremely thin.. Dog chewed through it very quickly and had to throw it away.

Snapped on 2nd use - small, not very strong dog and just snapped and then retracted into case so couldn’t even tie it back on, had to carry dog home!

This lead isn’t hard wearing or safe. I have a small 5 month old Shih Tzu puppy and have been using this lead daily for only a few months. The lock mechanism has broken and I can no longer lock the lead. Luckily I wasn’t near any traffic when I realised this function had failed. I dread to think what could have happened, I recommend you buy a better quality lead.

Please spend that little extra and buy a different one. This really is cheaply made. Its thin and doesn't have the same stop mechanism as others, its quite dangerous as it stays extended instead of reeling back in :(
