These recordings are exquisitely produced, played, and sung. The songs are glorious and there isn't a moment that isn't top-notch. This is incredible musicianship from start to finish.Disc # 1: "Romance" from '91, is my second favorite of the set. It has 12 beautiful tracks and Armando Manzanero's "Te Extraño" is utterly sublime.Disc # 2: "Segundo Romance" from '94 has 11 tracks and more beauty for your ears...Pepe Guizar's "Sin Ti" is fabulous, as is "Historia de un Amor".Disc # 3: "Romances" from '97 is my favorite of the three, with the lushest string arrangements this side of heaven. It has 14 tracks/15 songs, a wonderful upbeat "Besame Mucho" and one of my favorite melodies, "Mañana de Carnaval". Whether you buy this singly or as part of this set, don't miss this CD. It's an absolute must in any Latin music collection. Top 10 on the list !The package (for me the packaging completes the work of art): It comes in a double jewel case, the front half has disc # 1 and the 3 individual booklets, discs 2 & 3 are in the back half. I wish this had been a set like Alejandro Fernández' "Mis Primeros Exitos"(so perfect in every way !) with each CD individually wrapped and separate in a lovely box. This extraordinary trilogy of some of the best music ever recorded deserved that extra touch of elegance. Nevertheless, get them singly, or get them as a set, but get them...and enjoy these Latin classics done to perfection.

Luis Miguel is my very favorite Spanish singer! Every song is a ten! Discovered him while traveling in Spain with my mother years ago. We have bought every one of his CD’s since.

Man mag diese Musik, oder man mag sie nicht - klassische Latein-Melodien hart am Rande der Schnulze ohne jedoch die Grenze zu überschreiten. Die Arrangements opulent im 90er Jahre Stil. Aber alleweil professionell, gut gemacht, und easy-listening wie der Amerikaner sagt. Luis Miguel als Sänger einfach stark und super-intensiv, interessanter Kontrast zu den Aufnahmen desselben Materials durch die Klassiksänger, z.B. Placido Domingo. Wer die alten Latein-Klassiker von Besame Mucho und Solamente una vez bis hin zu Somos Novios etwas moderner aufgemacht mag, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Wer sie "originaler" mag, bleibe bei Domingo, Alagna, Alfredo Kraus etc. Oder bei Nat King Cole, der das Material in den 1950er Jahren mit kubanischen Musikern im Tropicana-Sound aufgenommen hat.

What's to say about Luis Miguel and romantic Latin music? Well, everything. This crooner will have you making love to your lady before you can say "Burrito". Luis comes through with some of his most melodic tunes to date, his velvety voice and the big band sound in some of the tracks will have you looking into your baby's eyes and wondering why you hadn't bought this album sooner. Just make sure you have Google translate set to Spanish on your phone so you can at least know what he's singing and can pretend you are a great Latin lover! Highly recommended.

Buena música de siempre con Luis miguel yo estando en Italia es siempre difícil de encontrar música latinoamericano y por fin encuentro y ha poco precio, gracias y me disfruto la buena y mejor música.
