Great read!
I saw the Anime of season 1 before I got this and I was hooked it was well done and enjoyable. I highly recommend this book and the second volume as well. It starts somewhat slowly but builds up continuously to the end. This is done in a novel style and not manga so be warned.

Can't wait for the second one!
I'm all about side stories and this one was still good! The characters were a little flat, but I was still taken by surprise a few times and overall enjoyed the read!

GREAT, really enjoying it need the second volume !
LOVED IT! it's insane all the things that happened and how everything lead up to the events they had to deal with, if you like Attack On Titan you should read it but it's not a manga fyi it's more of a light novel

Writer or Translator? Idk
So I read the Prologue before writing this rather than the whole book, as I like to take my time reading things and didn't want to wait a few weeks before writing it. This is not a review on the whole book just the prologue as a sample. The only problem I have with the writing so far is that it seems to repeat itself a lot, for example (spoilers for the prologue btw) towards the end of it, a character we are introduced to named Wilco dies, pretty badly too, and to describe it the writer says "Wilco's crucified body". Now I can't tell if that's because the writer is bad or the translator is bad, as this book was originally written in Japanese, but it says that specific description every time we see the body instead of describing it any other way. That's the only reason I'm giving 4 stars, just lack of creative writing, everything else is pretty great so far and if you're a fan of AoT then £8 is definitely worth it.
