Good southern style bean stock.
These were a new purchase for me, heard about them through some recipes I am reading on with these included in the ingredients. Decided to try them. They are decent quality and I didn't have shipping issues as others have stated. They are flavorful in their blandness but, tasty too. They leave enough room between eating them plain and kicking them up a notch with whatever you want. I am sure they are a comfort food for others that have stated they have moved up north and miss these from the south. I personally get it. I miss Bush's Sweet Mesquite flavored beans often. Why they got rid of that flavor is beyond me. They were so good with hotdogs. Try these and kick'em' up with whatever you want. They are good.

Perfect flavor!
I love these beans! Cannot get them here in PA. Order through Amazon is a snap. I enjoyed them when I lived in the southwest. The baked beans up here seem to have too much molasses and are sickly sweet after having the ranch style ones. Like to mix them up with black beans. There is something in the seasoning that makes them them perfectly balanced in flavor. Not too sweet, hot, or overly spiced. Nice balance of chili, garlic, onion, paprika, and whatever else is in them. Only problem was 4/8 cans in each case were significantly dented, nearly crushed almost breaking into the can. Did not affect flavor at all. Just wonder what kind of handling could cause that can of damage to 4/8 steel cans, a Gorilla perhaps? Enjoy them!

Flavorful canned beans
These beans are amazing! I wish I could pick them up in store where I live but unfortunately I must resort to online ordering. They are expensive online so I try not to go too crazy. The beans are not sweet (I hate sweet beans) but flavorful. You can warm them up on the stove or take them camping with you and place the bare can directly on the grill. I like to add jalapeños to mine (they also sell them with jalapeños) for an extra kick.

EXCEPTIONAL PRODUCT
Had a recipe for southwest soup which called for ranch style beans. Search in all the supermarkets locally and couldn’t find them. Tried recipe with another spiced bean and it was acceptable. Ordered ranch style beans and the flavor was totally different and totally wonderful. Well worth the cost and have used in other recipes. Very flavorful product. Highly recommend.

Good Purchase
These are tasty, but a little bland. It's not just a barbegue or chili flavor - it's more of a classicsmoky ranch or trail sort of seasoning. That said, the order was great. No can dents or anything like that, and the "best by" date is January 16, 2022, so they aren't nearing expiration.

Great traditional campfire flavor
These are a classic. Great campfire flavor without overpowering "heat." Those who want more "heat" can easily add some hot sauce after the beans are cooked -- or throw some chilis in with the beans as they heat up. Nothing could be easier than dumping some of these out of a can and heating them up. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Family Favorite
Grew up in East Texas with this as a staple in our house. Once I moved to the NorthEast I was unable to find it in any of the stores. Thank goodness for Amazon! It keeps me close to home from so far away. I have shared this product with new friends who have never heard of it and they have fallen under its spell as well. It will be a repeat order from me until we can talk our local markets into ordering for the shelves. Great with summer cook outs, Burger nights, barbecue, and just a something different on the side. Now that I am in the Carolinas I have been able to find it periodically, but when it is unavailable locally, I know I can depend on Amazon to help stock my shelves.

Chili is no bueno without these beans!
I thought I was a chili master. I had been making chili for the folks since my college days. A neighbor of mine brought a case of these beans back from Texas. He gave me some to use in my next batch of chili. It changed my idea of chili for good. I am so glad that I found these on Amazon. They are not sold anywhere around here. Buy them by the case.To kick it up a notch, buy the ones with Jalapenos (super good). My simple chili recipe for the family is very simple. Two cans of these beans, small can of tomato paste, two cans of diced tomatoes, 1 to 2 pounds of ground beef, add water for desired liquidity (no chili seasoning pack needed. It is all in the beans). Put all in a slow cooker or large pot and simmer for 3 to 6 hours.
