Great little pump
It is a good little pump, very Quiet you don’t know it’s on. One of the reviews stated that the power plug has no plug just cut wires and this is true. It is Meant to be placed in line of a air conditioner or a ductless wall unit but can be used with a plug. When using a plug use the brown and blue wires and the two black just tape off they were for an alarm that stops your air conditioner from running if the pump should fail. I use this pump with a Whynter ARC 14 SH portable air and heat unit in a sunroom to extend the season of the room. When the evaporation tank would fill during the running of the heater the unit would shut off ,now with this pump is just keeps on doing its job. The inlet of the pump accepts a 9/16 ID Vinyl hose as a good fit and the hose that comes with the pump is long enough for the connect between the pump and motor and still plenty to run the drain. I didn’t drill a hole in my wall for the drain hose it just Empties into large jar that has to be Emptied . Great little pump !

Pump works very efficiently and quietly
Works really well, my portable ac in heat mode will fill the water tank up fairly quickly, and with the outlet being at the bottom, gravity is not an option to have my water flow out. With this, it fills up as a small tank, and empties it out into a bottle. Love this item

Works actually better than expected.
Used it on my floor AC unit. The AC unit instructions said to lift the entire (70lb) unit over a drain for it to drain the dehumidifier out.....yeah no. I'm lazy, your lazy. Let's plumb this up to drain into a bucket instead. The only thing I don't like about this is the plug. It just seems like a fire hazard for how janky it is. I'm a fireman so everything is a fire hazard to me though. Overall though I emptied a 5gallon bucket everyday for a long time so I probably have close to 50 gallons of water this little guy went through and no complaints yet. Very quiet, with the AC running you won't hear it kick on. I happen to have a 3D printer so I made a custom holder for this on my unit instead of the zip tips to the side. If the plug was better I would give it 5 stars but honestly for the price what can you expect? It'll look alittle confusing at first. You have a long cord that has the same end as the old 90s telephones did to plug into the end. So you have your reservoir where the water sits inside with the float. Then separate from that, you have the small pump that is placed wherever with a tube to pump into the bucket or outside. Mine ran everyday and kept on working. Never had a issue with it or anything and I put alot of water through it. Thought about drilling a hole through the exhaust vent on my AC unit and just having this pump outside instead. Definitely did exactly what I wanted it to, pump water from my stand-up AC unit without moving the AC unit.

Here’s the how to the instructions don’t show.
Here’s what I learned, it’s very very quiet. I only used the brown and blue wires only very simple to connect as the photo shows in the add, the two black wires I taped up individually and taped back along the side of the power wire. Also place the pump higher than the collection tank by one foot. I also bought 10 feet of of hose to pump the water out. The size of the hose I bought is 3/8 od x 1/4 id it works perfectly. I hope this helps anyone out there.

Have had in my mind splits for 3 years
Been working great for 2 of my mini splits for 3 years now. Had first problem this year. First problem one of them did not turn on, the float was sticking from sitting all winter. Gave it a few packs and back to working. Second problem, I could here it running put no water coming so I took it apart and a glob of dirt got sucked up and blocking the pipe just before the motor. Cleaned it out and now working great now.

Slick UPDATED July 1 2021
UPDATED: Rating reduced to one for failure to provide a product that lasted more than 3 MONTHS! Installed mid April-2021. Failure June 24 2021. Failure to pump. No blockages in lines whatsoever. No power fault, float switch fault, vibration, noises etc. Motor runs without pumping water. Suspected leak on discharge nipple on the mini pump inside of the pump housing, but I don't really have time to diagnose tiny leaks on plastic parts inside of the pump housing...which I can't replace anyway and the next best fix is to epoxy the nipple, or run a bead of CA along the suspected leak. Needless to say, I've turned this into a pile of spaghetti and regret. This little guy is pretty slick. The sound level is outstanding given the load below. I doubt it'll even be heard through the enclosure. I'll say that I'm using this for evaporator and furnace condensate on a 86k/30k system in NW USA due to space limitations...and cost. Running wiring to cabinet main, 2 foot pump suction from pan to 8 foot run to 5 foot head. Pump clears 32oz water with this config in about 10 seconds. I doubt typical run time will be any more than 2 seconds. Again, we're up north, less humid than southern USA. I'm watching to see what kind of longevity I'll get. Will update when things change.

Needs a plug that clamps on the cord
The power wires are very thin so if you were to unplug it from the wall by pulling the cord the wires would just pull out of the plug. Definitely not UL listed. The tank is very small it holds about a cup or less. The tank assembly is about an inch and a half tall. It works well for my floor air conditioner that has a very low water outlet. The tank is very light so I placed a weight on top of it to hold . It is silent.

Very quiet pump
I purchased this pump after buying another "very quiet" pump that turned out to be unacceptably noisy. This pump was installed behind a hatch inside a wall and has been working well so far. I can barely hear when it runs.
