I am using this light in dentistry. Not as bright as the expensive lights you can buy but it really is adequate for general purpose dental use. The circle of light is a good size, enough for 2.5x loupes and above with a good sharp edge so minimal dazzling of the patient. The beam is fairly neutral, maybe a touch on the blue side but colours are fairly good looking through it The same light is sold by some bigger name companies for much more money. The battery in this kit is nice and definitely lasts for over half a day of constant use at full brightness so I would be confident working with two batteries. Not sure if it would last 8hrs but for the extra money it is just worth buying another. Much better than the other cheap lights I have tried and definitely recommended if you don’t want to spend hundreds on a better one.
