If you open the bottle and give it a whiff, it does smell fishy. However, if you take out one pill and put it up to your nose the smell is undetectable. They dont leave a fishy taste in my mouth or give me any fishy burps. Maybe I have been lucky?? The pill is quite big, but it is a liquid softgel and easier for me to get down than a plain uncoated vitamin.
