All right, so listen up cause I'm gonna tell ya about this wicked good tarp from Kotap. Now, I ain't no expert on tarps or nothin', but let me tell ya, this one is the real deal.First off, this tarp is heavy-duty, ya know what I mean? It's made with a superior weave that makes it extra strong and durable. It's 8-mil thick, so you know it's gonna last ya a good long while. And let me tell ya, this tarp is waterproof, so it's gonna keep all your stuff nice and dry, no matter what kind of crazy weather comes your way. Now, I don't know about you, but I like a tarp that's versatile. And this one from Kotap is just that. You can use it for all sorts of things – covering up your boat, protecting your firewood, or even building a makeshift shelter in case of, you know, the end of the world or something. And let me tell ya, this tarp is big – 8 x 20 feet big, to be exact. So you're gonna have plenty of coverage for whatever you need to protect. Plus, it comes in a nice, clean white color that'll look real sharp no matter where you use it.So there ya have it, folks. If you're lookin' for a top-notch tarp that's gonna stand up to whatever Mother Nature throws at ya, then this one from Kotap is the way to go. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

It's Worth The Money!
This is my 3rd 15 x 30 Kotap Silver/White tarp. I live in Texas where the heat, sun and wind can destroy a tarp in a year or less. However, the Kotap tarp lasts a minimum of 2 years. The one I am replacing now is just shy of three years old. I have never had a tarp last this long and I've been covering my boats with tarps since 1989.

Heavy duty
We used this tarp to cover the fishing boat. It replaced one that tore. It is much stronger and has worked well

Very good for the money! Has been holding up so far. Had to put on top of my trailer for winter & rain season because I still have leaks on my roof I am unable to fix until then. I have ratchets straps holding it down and bungie cords. It has been up for two months now and we have had major storms come thru here & thought it was going to rip it off. I have had only two holes break away and moved straps but holding up pretty good! Very impressed for him reasonable it was for the size ! Awesome deal!

Great so far. Seems to be excellent quality and has been durable in hot full sunlight and winds for 5 months.
I recently received this ultra heavy duty tarp for covering my pool. I've now been using it for the last several weeks and so far, it has held up without any issues.Pros:- Silver/reflective coating. It should reflect back some of our harsh sun. I'm hoping it holds up for at least two seasons.- Grommets are good quality. I've bungee corded these fairly tight now for several weeks, and no rips or issues in medium strength winds.- Tarp is very thick and rugged as advertised. Comparably better than the normal heavy duty box store brand.- Tarp size was accurate and fit as expected.- Tarp quality was excellent. No rips or holes. No defects that I've noticed.- Tarp has been through some stiff winds, and heavy rains, and is still like new.Cons:- I need more time to see how this tarp material holds up to our harsh summer sun in Mesa, AZ. I know that is a key feature that many of you need to find out, in order to feel comfortable about your purchase. I will get back and add to this review when I observe the first signs of degradation on the tarp surface. As I said, it's been about 1 month now, and no signs of failure yet, and the sun has been intense here, day in and day out.Overall, for the price, the heavy duty material, the well placed and strong grommets, the silvered coating, and the lack of defects and good workmanship, this is a great tarp so far. The price on this is competitive with any similar tarp I could find of this size, but of thinner material. So, this is a very good deal in my opinion up to this point.Update: It's been 5 months of hot sun, winds and rain, birds, and an aggressive tie down set up. So far, all the grommets are holding up with exception of one that shows some signs of ripping, which is probably my fault for not evenly tension it with bungee cords. This tarp went through the end of summer here in Arizona, and has been continually covered in rain water on top, and chlorinated pool water on the bottom, and shows not leaking, discoloration, or pin holes or any obvious degradation. So far so good after 5 months of 100% outside use.

Super thick tarp!
I love these tarps! I've purchased several of these and they hold up excellent! They have grommets all they way around the tarp, spaced out evenly. I'm using the tarps to cover a yard full of weeds and kill them. It's worked out well in the previous spots I've used them. I also used them under my planting troughs with pea gravel on them. We get super hot weather here and the pea gravel absorbs all the water until it dries up. Overall I'm happy with this product.

Good, but not 16x16 and not exactly heavy-duty. 1 grommet tore already
So I bought this to cover my swimming pool in winter. The pool is 15' and round. Theoretically a 16x16' tarp should have covered the whole thing but it's a little short.I noticed the packaging and fine print does list a "finished size" (funny, but to me, I wouldn't sell something as one size that really was smaller than that. Is it not possible to just make one that is 16x16'??).But even the "finished size" of "15 ft. 4 in. X 15 ft. 6 in" should have worked, but it's a little short. So get one at least 1-2 feet larger than you really need.I made that work though. But within 1 week, one of the grommets started to tear. Also, it feels really thin, so I would not personally describe this as "heavy-duty".I'm not a tarp expert, so if you're looking for heavy-duty, and this one at 10 mil thick is typical of ones called "heavy-duty", I would get one that is 15 mil or thicker.I'll probably get a season out of this, and luckily, it was cheap which is why I'm giving it 3-stars instead of 1.

Better than the other ones
If you have always been buying the classic blue tarp, this one isn’t the same. Brought them on several backcountry trips and they are very good quality for shelter and protection. Did some testing such as pulling from corners with 8 inches thick of snow on top and it held. Highly recommend for any tough work or rough weather conditions. I think I have 5 of them now.

Heavy Duty
Heavy weight tarp that I have had installed over a temporary garage structure for a couple of years to save the original covering from UV degradation. Holding up well.
