Review Addition: I'd received a question asking what the ad meant by: "Tube capacity: 9-Inches pipe capacity: 2-Inches."Good question! Best I can say is "ignore that".As I said below 'It worked perfect to loosen a super tight flywheel nut on an 8.5 inch dia. outboad flywheel.'As my pic shows the handle has "300MM-12 inches" cast into the handle. I say "ignore". It works great.(Old review below)OUTSTANDING! EXCELLENT QUALITY! ALUMINUM HANDLE. STRONG NYLON STRAP. DELIVERED FAST. FIRST JOB: REMOVE 8" DIA. FLYWHEEL NUT FROM OUTBOARD. NEEDED 18" BREAKER BAR/7/8 SOCKET & THIS TOOL. IT WORKED EXCELLENT. THEN FLYWHEEL PULLER NEEDED 18" BREAKER AGAIN, AND 12" EXTENSION ON THIS STRAP HANDLE. AGAIN EXCELLENT! FLYWHEEL SHAFT/SOCKET WAS RUSTED, WITHOUT THIS TOOL NO WAY I COULD HAVE GOTTEN IT OFF. I'VE USED "RIGID" BRAND BEFORE, THIS IS AS GOOD. I'M VERY HAPPY I BOUGHT THIS TOOL.

Got the Job Done
After 25 years of old house ownership, I thought I had all the tools. A kitchen faucet repair proved me wrong - I needed a strap wrench. This was a good price, is well constructed, was delivered quickly and got the job done. A minor glitch was the nylon strap was very slick and although tightened, did slip around the faucet handle when I was trying to remove it. I put some tacky heavy duty double sided tape on the underside - this did the trick.

Does not clamp down enough to prevent slipping
Kept slipping and the strap is extremely stiff (probably why it slips).

Simple, but really effective!
Everyone should have this strap wrench in their tool boxes! I bought this one for a particular job (removing the plastic impeller from a motor shaft on a pool pump) when nothing else would work without breaking the plastic part. The soft strap grips tenaciously, and doesn't damage the part. Since I bought it, I've used it numerous times and it's never let me down. The strap is long enough for large diameter items, and the handle is long enough to give you some really powerful leverage. I've used it for everything from chrome plumbing I didn't want to scratch or mar, to tough really stuck car oil filters, to removing plastic locking rings on 2.5" diameter PVC plumbing. I can say that I won't be without one handy again! It's stupid simple, and works every time!
