According to my husband this is the beat thing ever for Call of Duty PS4 connection. WiFi kept dropping out and kicking him out mid game and this fixes everything. Hurrah!

This is overkill for home networks right now, but many of my cables are 10 years old and category 5 (100 Mbps) is useless now. Buy this and in 10 years time you won't have junk cables lying around.

(SUPER CABLES! unless your going fibre optic).Your cabling in now NOT your speed bottleneck.Limitations in your network are now:-Your PC 10/100/1G network cardYour switch 1/100/1G ( some switches actually slow down your transfer speed or go faulty)Your router connected to the ISP (If your SKY router only has 10/100 thats the max you get if that)Your speed broadband package with your ISP (Check what speed package you signed up for)If your still not getting your quoted speed from your ISP ask for a line check(they sometimes have the wrong speed setting at the exchange).I would definately recommend this cable. to future proof your home network.

I use this cable between my Virgin Media Hub3, which I now use as a modem and connected to a tp-link Archer C4000 high speed router, which increased the Internet speed as the router part of the Hub3 has issues over the years according to various sources on the Internet. The biggest problem for me is the Hub3 does not support WPA2(AES) which is more secure than WPA/WPA2. The Cat8 cable can handle any traffic between the modem and the router. I am running Virgin Media 550 Mbits per second connection and present speed test is 616 Mbps download and 41.5 Mbps upload. Awesome.

Perfect cables. I was troubleshooting some connectivity issues and decided to replace existing cables with these (20m), bingo, job done, solid connection again. Still hitting around 850mbps on speedtest which is about the max I've ever reached on this ("Up to 1000mbps") connection.

Bought a 15 metre one to run up to my Cctv NVR in the loft via the soil pipe duct from the kitchen. Works a treat with no drop outs and a solid signal. There are cheaper ones available out there but the quality of the cable is worth the extra outlay imho.

This is a top quality lead, it has made a massive difference to to internet speed to my sons gaming pc.
