I live in central Fla and walk trails with my dog every day. Now's the time when the bugs are out in force. I used this bug soap along with the spray and can't say enough about it. Spray alone never cut it. The walks were miserable because of the bugs. Now I'm not bothered a bit and going to order more. Two thumbs up.

Right from the start the soap smells so fresh. For its real purpose it lathers very well, the poppy seeds are the perfect exfoliant. So far it sure seems to keep the bugs off me when I am outside. Elise makes some good soap for sure. BTW I seldom do a review. Had to for this soap.

I was skeptical to say the least. The soap has a light and pleasing scent, leaves no residue, and leaves skin soft and exfoliated. I was happy with my purchase right after use. I then spent a day out on the water and it was only after the rest of my party complained about all the bugs that I realized, throughout the whole day I did not get bit one time. Now I was amazed. No doubt this product will save me money on bug spray in the long run, great product in every way.

I want to keep the mosquitoes and ticks away without spraying a bunch of toxic bug spray on myself and my kids during the summer. So this soap is perfect for us. It smells really nice and cleans well too. I cut the bar in half with a sharp knife so that I could put one in each bathroom where we shower. On really bad bug nights, I may still spray a little non-toxic bug spray just for extra protection. But having this soap with the right combination of essential oils to keep the buys away is great. So much nicer than all the perfume soaps that are so common that can actually attract bugs. So grateful I found this product!

Bought this as we were going camping & thought we'd give it a try.1) I love the scent. Even on the days we weren't in the woods I still used this.2) We went to the Everglades & the only thing I used was this soap until dusk for a bug defense. At dusk I had to use deep woods off also.3) I am one of those people who seems to attract bugs anytime I'm in the woods but with this soap I noticed a HUGE difference for the positive.4) I have very sensitive skin & I experienced NO adverse skin reactions to this soap.

This "Ain't Buggin Me Soap' works. How do I know? On days when I don't use it, those little no-see-ums are back in force -bugging me. I am a full-time RV'er and spend lots of time outdoors with the bugs. This soap kept them away with no strong chemicals or smell. Why 4 stars? The soap itself was gentle on my skin but the poppy seeds in the soap were quite abrasive as the soap got used up.

I bought this because I live in a tropical area and it does keep mosquitoes away. I like the smell. It is scratchy at first but I got used to it......................................................................................................................I used to like it very much and I gave it a 5 star rating. I have been a regular customer and have been buying repeat orders of 10 soaps per batch. But the latest batch is not the same as before. It has much less seeds than before. Now the seeds are at the top instead of in the soap. See photo. So I am reducing it to 3 stars. As you can see from the photo. The soap from the left was from an earlier batch I bought. It has seeds inside the soap. But now, the seeds are on top. Once that is washed off, there are no more seeds.

I ordered this bar of soap for a national parks road trip (can be very buggy)! I received the product very quickly and to my surprise a lovely note and a half bar of another product advising because the soap was not read till a specific date, to use the complimentary soap while we wait ;) awesome idea. I loved it so much I placed an order for another bar. We were enjoying Father’s Day until the mosquitoes started biting. I was talking about the product and had brought the soap outside for my family to smell and see and crazy but the mosquitoes stayed away from tue person holding the soap. The smell is perfect, and the natural ingredients made it a no brainer. Shop small business especially this shop highly recommend. Thank you for an awesome product, I will be purchasing more!
