First-Play Catch Tail Ball, Multi-Colour

I had one of these years ago for my youngest daughter. I ordered this one for my granddaughter who is 7 years old. In the meantime, I'd made one myself using a tennis ball, so I was quite interested to see which would be better. We took both balls outside yesterday to test the difference. It seems that the bought one looks much better and brighter, but the ball is a little heavier than the tennis ball, so a bit harder on little hands when catching. When we went out today, my granddaughter chose to take the ball I'd made, rather than this brightly coloured one (which made my day!). However, I would definitely recommend this item to parents and teachers as it makes it much easier for younger kids to catch a ball and improve their catching skills with practice.

Wish I had known about these in my childhood! Bought two after coming across them in the Internet, and introduced them to my family. By the end of the day, we had bought four more for each member of my family. Everyone enjoyed playing with them, including my 4 year old nephew, who after a little practice was able to throw it about 10 metres!Wonderful childrens toy and totally worth the price. What's more, a quick Google for foxtail games should give you a list of different games to play with them if your looking for a competitive use with adults.

The ball throws alright, although presence of the tail can be a little disconcerting. I'm sure for extreme sports, you wouldn't want the tail. But for children learning to catch, the streaming tail can help some to keep a track of the ball easily and learn to catch. It actually adds a visual fun to games in a different way. For more fun and less competitive settings.

As a family we all love this!! Great for throwing a fair distance but be careful when trying to catch it! Even our 4 yr old can give it a good swing and launch it far!

Mine came with a purple "tail" but didn't bother me. The kids love trying to catch it and easy for them to throw.

A friend of our recommended this to help our children with hand eye coordination. Whilst happy with the product itself, it’s tail was supposed to be multicoloured however it’s only purple. I’m not sure how to contact the seller but was really expecting it to be as advertised since this is for a 5year old.

this is the only place i can find this ball, my family has really enjoyed playing with it.

Shocked as to how much the real Fox tail costs, this is just as good without the whistle effect
