Gorgeous color and soft comforter! I've been looking for a new bed set, and spent a long time looking before finally deciding on this, but with reservations. That said, going to answer the questions I had about this set before I bought it but decided to take the chance and buy anyway. First thing, the picture looks somewhat velvety, somewhat soft and shiny texture. I wasn't sure when I bought it of what the material would be like, whether it would be velvet like or just soft and shiny. Well, it is velvety and not shiny. Very soft. I'm typically not a "velvet" person, as lint and all kinds of stuff gets stuck up in it. So far though, I love this comforter and no problems with that. The reverse side of the comforter is maybe microfiber, a sheet like material. Second question I had before buying, the length of the comforter on all sides of the bed: I have a king. I wanted something where I would not need a bed skirt. This is long on all sides and so you need no bed skirt. It comes to the floor at the end of the bed, and on the sides, it comes to about 3 inches from the floor. It's very big and should sufficiently cover your bed all the way to the floor. Third question I had: The color on the advert was called scuba blue. For me, I'm trying to make my bedroom as much like a tropical beach as possible and also bought a wall decal to put above my bed of a huge picture of a caribbean beach/ocean. The way the color looks in the picture of this product, is very beautiful, but doesn't really seem like turquoise, but a more vibrant caribbean blue (think of what the ocean in Cancun looks like). The actual comforter compared to the picture, not as vibrant but a bit of a lighter color, and basically, just like regular turquoise or teal. Not to dissuade from buying, as it's still very beautiful and very ocean like, but the color is not quite as vibrant as in the picture. All in all, love this bed set!

This bedspread is soft and classy looking. I am really happy with it. I was tired of the comforters that required a bed skirt. I didn't want that look anymore, plus the comforter would slide around while sleeping at night. Comforters also lump up over time after a few washing's. I feel like I will be able to wash this bedspread and it will still be as good as new. This one is fairly thin but has good weight to it. I like that it drapes down to the floor. I first set it up lengthwise from side to side instead of top to bottom, so it was too long on the sides, but once i turned it, it fit perfectly. I don't know about the other colors, but the brown is very rich looking. 3/16/16 UPDATE- I bumped up from 4 to 5 stars. This bedspread is warm, soft and snuggly. I have washed it twice in my front loader washing machine. It washes great. No fading, clumping or pilling. It's perfect!

I purchased the king in sapphire blue. The color is spot on in the advertisement. The material is a short hair velour. Depending on which way you brush the material, it can look darker or lighter (like velvet). The backing is more of a navy blue.Pics:* whole bed: bedspread stops about 3 inches off the floor of a regular king bed* folded edge: backside of the blanket versus the front* loose threads: these types of loose ends were in a couple different spot on the spread* diamond: shows color difference when fabric is sweeped in different directionsPros:* no static! (I live in a very dry climate and expected to get shocked but I haven't heard a single crackle of static out of this blanket yet)* doesn't hold wrinkles after sleeping on it /in it* doesn't snag on dry skin and leg stubble (soft but not sticky)* lightweight yet it feels like it has some heaviness because of the overhang* cool to the skin (velour side) and doesn't get hot after laying on it for awhile* no fuzz sheddingCons (and why this is 4 stars instead of five):* loose threads: the pic shows some of the loose threads but there were SEVERAL of them. They are primarily isolated to the back side of the spread although there was one 3 inch thread on the front that I had to cut off. It's not a deal breaker but it is sloppy workmanship and therefore 1 star deducted.Otherwise, I really love this spread. It is so comfortable and soft. It makes me want to use it for sheets.

This comforter is soft beautiful and long enough I just wish it was a little thicker and more plush, but it’s put together well the quality is perfect it’s a good buy.

Love the feel of this bedspread! It is soft and supple throughout. I was concerned the embroidered panel around the perimeter might be stiff, but it is as soft and flexible as the plush center of the spread. It is a comfortable weight for year-round use. The extra long 120” length is perfect for folding the spread around the sleeping pillows the “old-fashioned” way. Pillows with shams can be added for décor, but are not needed to cover the bedding and sleeping pillows. The 110” width is also perfect for my bed that measures 111” from floor to floor across the top of the mattress. Also, my contact with the seller, Home Soft Things, was very positive as I was searching for another purchasing option when this item was listed as out-of-stock on Amazon. Their prompt reply to my inquiry and willingness to notify me when the item became available was most appreciated.

I bought the comforter set for my guest room. I am absolutely in love with it! It is very luxurious. The color is perfect. The fact that is reversible is an added feature . Is like getting two comforters for the price of one. The craftsmanship is amazing! Absolute perfection! I needed a comforter to cover a high bed that has drawers underneath. This covers every inch of it am I am very pleased! Would buy it again snd again!

Have been looking for a bedspread long enough to reach the floor for a queen bed. This oversized queen is perfect. The taupe color has a gold undertone which is perfect for the accent colors in the room. Love the softness and pattern. Washed well, just took a long time to dry on no/low heat. Hopefully won't have to wash it too often. Would purchase again if warranted.

This bedspread is a really good buy. The quality is excellent and it is a perfect fit. We actually bought two, one for a California King and one for a Queen. Both are correctly sized. The colours are rich and the material is heavy and durable. Altogether, very satisfied on all counts.

Finally a real bed spread. It actually fits my bed. I ordered king for a Queen but the bigger size is perfect. The picture makes it look heavy. It's not. Bed still needs a blanket. I'm loving it. It didn't hurt that it was almost $100.00 off regular price.

The bedspread looks lovely on my bed, it's very soft and comfortable, would definitely recommend it.

Somewhat disappointed after washing my bedspread, I noticed the shams were not the king size shams which should have been included. They were standard. Having trouble trying to contact Amazon. I do not want to return the whole thing. Hoping just to replace the shams. Otherwise would have rated it higher. Beautiful rich colour.
