I like this charger- good features, good price. The repair feature worked on my battery. Details to the repair:My battery is a 12V 95aH flooded (wet) marine battery. It was NOT fried or toast- it had sat for several years, but was fairly unused. It WAS NOT working well, simply put, it would charge quickly, say it had 'regular' voltage, then deplete much faster than 95aH capacity. (about 1/3 the capacity, by my measure). ADVICE: Get a hydrometer. The hydrometer reading indicated near water specific gravity. In my case, each cell had fluid, (was NOT dry, ever), and all six cells read the same. This is key. One or more with different electrolyte value (specific gravity) can mean the battery is toast.One repair cycle with the Foxsur and I could measure higher electrolyte specific gravity. One charge, discharge cycle more, one more repair cycle with the Foxsur, and this battery now is reporting "GOOD" (nominal) specific gravity and has nearly 100% FULL CAPACITY when I use the battery with a known load. In net, battery repair likely can only be done on truly sulfated batteries- not damaged batteries with shorted or bad cells. With 2x 24 hr repair cycles, my battery has been restored from having only 30% capacity to 100%, and is happily running my cooler/fridge/freezer unit...

Worked just as well as any of the expensive brands (such as Schumacher) for almost one third the price. Just read the instructions and follow the instructions. Pretty self-explanatory. I could understand how a lot of people had trouble with it because they did not read the instructions. But to give a product a bad review because they can't read or follow simple instructions is kind of stupid.I'm sure every now and then a defected product will come out of production and somehow somebody did not check it correctly. It happens.... Then simply return it for a new one.This product help save me almost at $100 or more of money I do not have. It actually helps revise free battery so far one of which was sitting outside weathered for almost 2 years. I just wanted to see if it could and it did.Now I have had the opportunity in my past to use expensive brands with pulse charging capabilities.... I would say that this has performed just as well as the expensive brand from past experience.... So you might as well save yourself $50 or $60 and buy this because it works just as good.

Great charger. Got it to repair and charge my agm battery that are expensive to replace and can easily sulphate if discharged. This brought back the dead agm battery back to life. I chose this one over another model from foxsur since this has higher output amps and has a mode specific for agm battery. This charger seem to regulate the voltage and current intelligently based on the condition of the battery and also seems to adjust based on the ambient temperature. See attached pictures and video, the fan seems to be on most of the time and is not as loud as you hear in the video. Overall great smart charger and it won’t fry your battery as other chargers are notorious for. Per the manual it is safe to leave it connected to the battery long term.Edit 6/26 .. Noticed an issue, not sure if it is a issue or just limited to AGM batteries. Per the specs this is a three stage charger, the charger puts out almost 8 amps during the second stage (probably the absorption stage), and as it progress it keeps lowering the current and keeps the voltage constant , around 14.1 V for my battery. Towards the end of this stage is where I notice the problem. When the current reaches around 1 Amp, the charger goes off, then comes back on , fan comes on and charges for few seconds and then off. I don't know if this is how the third stage is supposed to work, seems like it is doing a pulse charging. It keeps doing the on- off cycle , in my case for around 45 mins and then goes off and stays off as expected. A battery test shows that my battery is charged to capacity. So not sure if it is by design or a problem.

Have been using this charger primarily for charging my boat batteries. Have used it on dead car batteries before and works like a champ!

Had this about 3 months and couldn’t figure out why my voltage on my 24 volt battery was low. Is supposed to auto sense voltage input but it does not. It will not charge to 24v. It reads to 14v and shuts off thinking it’s connected to 12v battery

Nothing but good words from this 12v-24v charger. I originally bought it for the best choice jeep. It has a 24v conversion. And it has been charging great. I can charge individually each battery or both at 24v. It takes couple hour to charge 24v but well worth it. Batteries last long time. You can watch the battery level as it charges. And best part is that it stops charging after a full charge. so no worries about overcharging or anything weird like that.Charges car batteries too. Or anything 12-24v

The main reason I’m writing this review is because I bought this with the primary purpose of being a 24V charger. I have a 48V golf cart with six 8V batteries. I let them sit without putting it in the tow mode and when I checked them the other week they were all discharged to the point that they wouldn’t kick on the 48V golf cart charger. So my plan was to hook 3 batteries in series to make a 24V system and charge 3 at a time that way. After getting the charger I couldn’t get it to charge 24V so I started reading reviews more in depth and found many people saying it didn’t work. So here’s what I found out and what I did to make it work.The 24V charging feature only kicks on when it detects its on a 24V system. So in my case, all 3 batteries hooked together were only reading enough voltage to make the charger assume it was a 12V system. So I was able to use the 12V charger on two 8V’s and then one 8V to bring the overall voltage of the 3 batteries together high enough for the charger to read it as a 24V system. Once I was able to do that, the charger worked perfect. So my 4 star rating is based on the fact that the charger only has one “function” button. You can only select the mode of battery you’re charging and everything else is automated for you. So it would be nice if it had functions to be able to select if I want it to be 12V or 24V without it relying on detecting the voltage. Because honestly if you’re using this charger it’s because the charge has dropped to a point that the 24V system isn’t going to read on its own.
