I purchased 2 books, one is this devotionals and the other inspirations for women. This devotional is not specific towards men or women, it would make a great gift for absolutely anyone.I love the clear well written passages, and scripture references. I honestly love Spurgeon so was pleased to see this book by him. Have not been let down in the slightest .These are arranged by date which covers the whole year. I love the organization, but it I had to be overly picky I wish there was a table of contents.This is definitely a book I will purchase for someone, as a gift. The topics covered in this devotional allow the readers to keep it basic or take it further into a deeper study of the word ♡✝️💙
