Great ice cream taste.
This ice cream is great tasting, delicious. And easy to prepare. I have a cuisanart electric ice cream maker. I keep the bowl in my freezer so it’s always ready to go. I bought the combo pack chocolate with the two psvk vanilla. Made the chocolate yesterday. It was delicious. Had a nice chocolate flavor. Toddy I made the vanilla. Wish I had made that yesterday. The vanilla has a great vanilla taste. I didn’t quite have enough cream but it’s still worked. I didn’t quite hsve the 3/4 c cream It called for so added just a touch more milk in the measuring cup I used for the cream swirled It around to get all the cream out if the measuring cup must have worked. It was nice and creamy. I willMake sure I keep packets of thisMix on hand. So easy to ale. Just mix ingredients and add cream and milk. Mix It around and out in Cruze bowl of ice cream maker. I keep my bowl in the freezer. ThrnIf on a whim I want to make ice cream. I only need to make sure I have heavy cream smd milk. Mix in a bowl amd put It in ice creamMaker. In less than 30 mins. Fresh ice cream for your family. Might try other flavors too

Can't find this locally.
I like to make home made ice cream, but for the last two years or so, no local stores have stocked the Junket product. Glad to find it on-line. Thank you.

It makes ice cream
I do have to say I used my ice cream machine and it was perfect but I do have to say when you mix it in your mixing bowl first you need to makes it extra long because it takes a little longer to dissolve. We tasted a bunch of granules of sugar in it, so blend it for a while.

The best ever
This is absolutely the best homemade ice cream mix we have ever used. The vanilla tastes like ice cream you get on the boardwalk!

way too sugary falvored
Followed recipe exactly. The crème went to the bottom of the brand-new ice cream maker, and the whole mix did not exactly dissolve well. It was gritty and way too sugary. Both vanilla and chocolate were like that. It seemed to be more dependent on the sugar for flavor than the vanilla or chocolate. Tried another brand and was very happy. Won't buy this again.

Great starter kit for ice cream novice!
Good start for new ice cream machine. The vanilla is smooth and creamy. I actually used the second vanilla as the base to make peppermint ice cream with a little bit of peppermint pieces thrown in. It was all the rave at the party! The chocolate and vanilla are good on their own, but now I’m ready to experiment with vanilla as a base for other flavors - peach? Butter rum?, Time will tell!

I'm chubby, so even bad ice cream is good, take that into consideration

Perfect for a summer afternoon!
I had some extra time Saturday afternoon, and realized it would be the perfect moment to experiment with the Junket Vanilla flavor. We have the Cuisinart 1 quart ice cream maker (which we really enjoy). In order to make our favorite flavor, coffee with chocolate chips, I added 3 tablespoons of espresso powder (from King Arthur) to the dry ingredients, and mixed well. I mixed semi-sweet and bittersweet chocolate chips together, a scant cup, and then smashed them with the back of a chef knife until they were in smaller pieces. Poured the milk and dry ingredient mixture together, mixed well, and then while the ice cream maker was running, added the chocolate chips. Twenty minutes later, we had a lovely mocha chocolate chip feast. I might even add another tablespoon of espresso powder to boost the coffee flavor even more, next time.
