Honestly, I have only ever had a normal, 2-slice toaster. My wife uses this a lot more than me (I got it more for her than myself) and she absolutely loves it. She uses it more for bagels and always comments on how pleased she is with it getting the inside to her exact liking and keeping the outside soft and chewy. My 10 year old also uses this with no issue whatsoever. I have made toast a few times with it and it was very easy to set it to my liking and getting the bread just right, I like mine on the light side and have yet to over do it.

Beautiful appliance. It would be better if it would toast all of the bread. The center of the bread is nicely toasted, but a 1" margin most of the way around is completely untoasted. Exceptional darkness selection with exact times clearly displayed.

I like the dual lighted displays and countdown timers. I like the features such as the bagel setting, the defrost button, and the re-heat button. I only wish that the lighted display would light whenever a button was pushed, instead of only when the toasting lever is pushed down. Not a big problem though, once you get used to it. I appreciate the fact that is made by a USA based manufacturer!

This product has no temperature control. The "Browning Level" is a misleading title and it's really nothing more than a fancy timer. I did an experiment with my old Sunbeam toaster I'm replacing. Both toasters were cold with an English muffin set to "Browning Level" 3 of 7 and on the old toaster at level 3 of 7 as well, both set to "Bagel" pointing towards the heating elements. The muffin picture is after 4:56 seconds on the Secura and 4:26 on the old toaster. Bottom muffin is the new toaster. Additional time on both was required with a total of 7:24 on the new toaster and 4:26 on the old toaster for a medium brown. In my opinion that's 3 minutes too long, which could have been corrected with a temperature control.

This toaster works great so far and replaced another well-known manufacture’s model. What I like: (1) classy looking with a small footprint, (2) easily viewed toasting time length, (3) easily selectable toasting level (although it took trial and error to determined what level best suited my toast worthiness). Once you set your desired level, the consistency remains use after use after use (4) easily accommodates all thickness of items for toasting. What I don’t like: (1) easily smudgeable stainless steel casing. Overall, I rate it highly. My wife is very particular and if she didn’t like something, I’d certainly know it. Verdict: she likes it!

Excellent product and excellent customer service. I am a business owner who makes customer service our top priority. As a result, I really appreciate other companies that do the same. Secure is one of those companies. They actually reached out to me to make sure I was completely satisfied with my toaster. I’ve purchased much more expensive products and usually hear nothing from them. I highly recommend this product and this company.

I love this toaster!! I’ve been using it for several weeks now. Very even toasting which was my primary desire. Seems to be well made and I love the wide slots. It does take longer to toast but I suspect that’s why it is so easy to get an even toast on all slices. I bought it to replace a 4 slice cuisinart that I only had for maybe 5-6 months. The cuisinart was a disappointment. I am confident anyone who purchases this toaster will be equally as pleased as I am.

I really like this toaster. It has a modern high tech look to it. The count down timers are cool. I like knowing how much time is left when toasting bread or bagels. It is easy to use, it browns evenly, there are seven browning levels. There are several options-reheat, defrost, one for bagels and a cancel button. There are two crumb trays that pull out easily to clean. Just a very nice toaster all around
