The Efergy Hub doesn't have a direct API, the energyhive and engage website however, does. details can be found on http://blog.krisdaniels.be/efergy-engage-api/. this allows for apps to pull data using JSON from the website for aggregate stats, i.e. power consumed and/or generated every 5 minutes or so.

Q: What is the complete list of items included in the combo kit?

Elite Monitor, Transmitter , 2 sensors and Engage hub solo with ac adapter and USB lead

Q: Once I hook up the hub to my router, can I access my data from across the country or do I need to connect to the same wifi network?

You can the access the information in the cloud through an app on your phone / tablet anywhere in the country. You do not need to be on the same wifi network

Q: How exactly do you install this into your fuse box? (I assume that's where it goes). Can you install yourself? Thanks

It is very easy to install and yes, you can do it yourself if you are something of a handyman. But it is dangerous working inside the fuse box because therer are two clamps that clamp around hte main feed wires. All you have to do is get inside the fuse panel and clamp the two clamps around the main wires. The clamps are spring loaded so it takes no special tools.
