LOVE these for my cats!
My cats HATE taking pills. And I certainly do not enjoy trying to force what I'm sure are nasty tasting pills down their throats with one of those pill popper guns. (I know those should be easy but for some stupid reason I still struggle with them no matter how many times I try it. Darn the vets for making it look so easy!) Anyway, with these, I just slide each of the pieces of pill (usually it's one pill broken into 8 or so pieces) out of the prescription bottle I get from the vet into these capsules, put them back in the prescription bottle and they are ready to go. When I need one of my cat's to take one I just wrap it in a little strip of a cheddar cheese slice and voila, my work is done! The cat is happy they got a nice treat and I'm happy there was no torturing involved for either of us!I now use these little gems for everything I need to give my cats. I buy the little round deworming pills off Amazon for my cats and use these for those as well. Those pills are a little bigger so I crush them and put the "pill dust" into 3 separate capsules (no special tools required, just use my fingers and make sure I wash my hands afterwards) and give the 3 capsules, each wrapped in cheese, to my cat all at the same time.I've attached a picture. 100 come in a package. Best money spent at about 10 cents per pill. Ignore the expiration date on the baggie, I purchased them in Feb 2018 and they've lasted until now. I literally have one left, as seen in the picture, so I'm now ordering more. Coins are shown for size comparison purposes as these are the very small capsules.

He even stopped eating for a while afraid I was trying to "poison" him with the apparently terrible tasting and smelling pills
Life saver... literally! We have a six year old semi-feral cat that started spray marking ALL around the house several years ago. After trying every trick in the book to stop him our vet was kind enough to gave us a prescription for anti-anxiety medication even though we've never been able to get him into the vet... we can't pick him up. After multiple attempts to get him to take the tablets (canned food, tuna, pill pockets, etc.) I was devastated. He even stopped eating for a while afraid I was trying to "poison" him with the apparently terrible tasting and smelling pills. I was at my wits ends thinking that my only resolution was going to be to put him down, which would have devastated not only me, but his sister who is also semi-feral. After doing even more research I discovered these capsules and other peoples positive experiences. YAY! The first couple of days of putting the capsules in tuna were shaky. He spit them out a couple of times, but with perseverance and persistence he now begs for his morning tuna and takes the capsules with NO issues. I bought the smallest size possible and cut the small pill in half and give him two. Not only can I get the meds into him, but from day ONE he stopped spraying in the house. I am SOOOOOO happy and he is too!

Used?? They had a powdery substance already caked inside
They looked used. I bought these to use for my cat who has difficulty with pills, but almost a quarter of the capsule looked like they had been used and partially emptied. There was a weird yellow powder caked inside of them. I didn’t trust them and threw them out. I bought some clear empty capsules from another seller/manufacturer and am very happy with those.

Well made product
The capsule itself is great - it is as described and functions well. Easy to take apart and put back together. No fault to the company, but unfortunately this didn't work for my purposes. I have a 7 month old male Bengal who is on Prozac 2.5mg (1/4 of 10mg). This did easily fit the 1/4 size pill and covered it well. My cat chews everything so we couldn't hide it in his food (its a bit large for that anyway). In the end after trying pill pockets, coating in cream cheese, etc we resorted to pilling. We were hoping the capsule would at least protect our cat from the supposedly horrendous taste of Prozac. Unfortunately, the capsule is very slick and he was able to spit it out much more easily (granted, hes not a normal cat - he moves his tongue everywhere when trying to pill him so its hard to get it to stay in his mouth). Since its a rather large pill for a 7mo old kitten it was also easier for him to hold in his mouth to spit out later. Overall, we did much better pilling him with just the dry 1/4 of prozac followed by cat milk.Overall though, I'm glad I bought this product so I wouldn't still be wondering if this would miraculously change everything. This does seem ideal if I had a small pill with a cat that doesn't chew or a compliant dog.

Excellent for giving bad-tasting meds to my cat!
I use these to give bad-tasting meds (Fluoxetene aka Prozac) to my cat. I put the meds in the capsule, dip it in a little melted butter and pop it into the back of her mouth. If I don't aim well, she spits it out and we have to redo. Most of the time, however, pill time is quick, easy and pleasant: she loves the tasty, buttery coating, which also helps the pill slide right down. This is the smallest size I could find online. Some people say that a #4 can be used to dose a cat but I bought a bag of those too, and they just look too big to even try. I wish I could find a smaller one than this size, but it is working well enough. I hope this helps someone else who is trying to use this med - it must taste horrible, because she used to salivate profusely and really HATE getting prozac. What has helped even more is getting a vest and leash to take her out into the yard. Her vet indicated that indoor-only cats exhibit more neurotic behavior than indoor-outdoor cats. Since I've begun walking her, she's starting to use the litter box again, and I have hopes of actually getting her OFF the Prozac. I hope this helps someone who is going through litter-box avoidance problems with their kitty!
