I had a trailing cable across a much-used walkway, taking power over to a dark corner for a table lamp. Short of going to the trouble of taking a longer cable up over the doorway and down the other side, a cable cover was the obvious answer - and it works absolutely fine. It's still proud of the floor, of course, but it can be tucked in right by the area rug, lies flat and doesn't move - and it doesn't look terribly unsightly either. Inserting the cable was child's play and it lay flush with the floor from the beginning - no residual curling in spite of the fact that it was rolled up in the box - and had I needed to cut it to length, it would have been an easy job with a craft knife. Very pleased. A simple way to remove a trip hazard.

i BOUGHT THIS AS A BARRIER TO MY GARAGE DOOR TO STOP INGRESS ON THE FLOOR FROM RAIN ETC.STUCK IT DOWN WITH STRONG ADHESIVE AND IT WORKS WELL, CONSIDERING IT WAS NOT MADE FOR THIS. MUCH CHEAPER THAN BUYING THE SOLID RUBBER STRIP TO DO THE SAME JOB. EXCELLENT!

Stops me tripping over 3-4 power cables in my workshop

Good product

I needed this 2 metre cable cover to cross the hall from my study for a LAN link to the router. But, only required intermittently when l am on long zoom calls. It is certainly neat and does the job but might be too heavy duty for domestic use if you need to recoil the cover. I am able to wrap the cover over a coat peg in the hall when not in use.
