Rado has been making stunning watches for years and the new Captain Cook in no different. The watch arrives in an attractive dark blue box with the watch in a smaller box on top, and the manual, polishing cloth, and quick reference cards on the bottom.To start the watch is has to be wound a dozen or more times. After that it will stay running from your movement and in my case that won't be an issue since it's hard to take this watch off my arm. I usually wear my Apple watch, but the Captain Cook has taken over and I have no regrets.This is a simple watch with the time, date, and the trademark anchor at the top of the bezel that moves as you move. The ceramic material as well as a sapphire watch face add up to one of the best-looking watches I have ever seen. The leather band is soft but strong, and it's easy to adjust by moving it on the rung before snapping the band closed.The watch can go up to 200 meters deep, but I would have to change the watch band to take this on a dive since it's leather.Overall this is a flawless watch that will look amazing on your arms, and trust me, people notice this watch.
