Good product and decent instruction booklet.. to separate phone I heated phone and very carefully used a box cutter to ever so slightly break the bond.. the guitar clip did the rest. You must watch you tube videos (more than one) to do this correctly and work along with the video helps a lot!You must buy a magnifying head set with built in led to see the really small screws so you don’t strip or lose them. It was like microsurgery and you must prepare. The kit did have everything you need but I got frustrated on how to initially separate.. 5-6 bowls to put parts in is mandatory as well. Good luck and go real slow .

The installation is simple, the installation effect is the same as the new one, the screen is very clear, and the sensitivity is very high.

I don’t see anything simple about this installation. I’ve read the instructions once and don’t feel confident about it. I’ve tried to find a video that has audio that explains the intricate maneuvers without success. If you have eagle eyes and nimble fingers and enough relevant experience then maybe it’s simple. I once disassembled and reassembled a laptop without worry, but I’m terrified of changing this battery. I’m going to take a deep breath and go for it. I will adjust my rating when done.*****************************I got it done after several hours. Frustrating when dropping a 2mm screw and trying to find it, even on a clear work surface. Really had a hard time trying to figure out how to apply the adhesive around the edge.

New battery worked well for first few months. The original battery was down to 80% health after 3 years and this one is down to 86% in 3 months... so pretty much garbage in the lifespan category.

I’m back to charging midway through the day after a week or so of use.NOT a social media user or gamer. Occasional internet browsing and text messaging and yet I still have to charge by dinner if not sooner.As I write this, it’s 12:16 pm. I’m at 37%. I watched a YouTube video for an hour earlier today. And used safari to view a recipe that required me to wake my phone a few times over the course of 30 minutes to see the next step in the recipe.Not pleased. Spent more here thinking I’d be getting a quality product. Doesn’t seem to be the case.

This product was purchased to replace the battery in an IPhone 7. The kit has everything you need in it, tools, main perimeter seal, instruction booklet. Very nice kit! The only thing I noted that the Phillips head screw driver tip could have been a little sharper/ pointier to access the very tiny screw heads. All in all, a great product with increased battery reserve as opposed to the original.
