We ordered these to hold gas cards so they don't get left in the company vehicle. They are very sturdy, being made of thick hard plastic. They are designed to hold ONE card and only ONE card. We hoped to be able to store gas receipts in with the card, but there is not room to do so easily. You won't have to worry about the card falling out of the holder - it's held quite tightly - but not too tight to easily remove.If you're worried about the key ring holder breaking, don't. Again, the plastic is quite thick and will not easily break.

Works great! I got this to protect my metro card (WMATA) since I got a special edition Zoo card and didn't want it to get bent like my last metro card did. I don't have any problems swiping it (unlike my work ID holder which is RFID-blocking, which I didn't realize at first) and my card stays put. I keep it in my pocket or in my purse, so it might be a different story if you keep it on a lanyard or your keys. If I really swing it around or shake it, the card does slide a little, but I'd have to really want to get it out. The top plastic part connecting the key ring is a little weird but I don't attach anything to it so I don't mind, I just use the ring for an extra grip on my card so it doesn't go flying out of my hand like SEPTA tokens sometimes do.

After running through about a half dozen plastic ID badge holders which eventually broke under the strain of daily use, I picked up this heavier duty one and am very pleased thus far. It's big enough, keeps my card secure, has a nice side entry (instead of a top one), lays flat on my chest, and allows me to access my card frequently throughout the day (I have a CAC card to sign in to my computer).The only complaint I have is that I thought it would hold two cards without squishing them into the slot. I've had other plastic badge holders which had individual slots for each card. This does not, so the only way to get two cards in is to force them in, thus eliminating my ability to pull one out frequently. It's a minor complaint (and maybe something they can incorporate into a future version?) and otherwise this is a sturdy and ideal device for me.

This works perfectly for my car key, makes life much easier for me and any valet. Keeps the key card safe, don't have to take it out to use. Just ordered another one to give as a gift.

Great idea and good product. I especially like the side slide out instead of at the end like others. Pretty expensive for what it is and that’s fine… but… it does not hold up to daily use and abuse. The thin plastic tab for the key ring is very flimsy and broke in no time , The plastic that holds the card is nice and durable though. Fix that weak key tab and I’ll buy again!

Employer switched from a metal key system to shiny new magnetic lock thingie. So now I have to carry a card with me. Easier to just put it on my keychain.
