For the money, this is excellent. If you are intending to replace an existing knocker, as I was, then don't be misled by the 100mm fixing centres in the product pictures. These are not threaded and are of no use. You will need to find three appropriate screws to fit the supplied bracket to the door and then the knocker just slides securely into place.As my door was drilled, I've had to position this new one very carefully and also make good on the inside of the door (has to be wife acceptable), if you can't do this then this may not be the product for you.Having said the above, the quality is very good for the price and it looks nice on the door, it makes a loud noise when used (!) and feels robust. A good purchase even if not exactly what I was expecting.

As others have mentioned, the knocker is designed such that the bracket is installed on the door and the knocker slips on and locks onto the bracket. I installed the version with the viewer which by design means the viewer when screwed in "clamps" and holds the knocker onto the door. So what I did rather than use the bracket, was simply to use a couple of small pieces of double sided sticky foam pad as pictured. I then lined the knocker up with the hole in the door and stuck on. I then screwed the viewer in to clamp the knocker to the door fully. With the viewer screwed in and the two sticky pads, it made for a rock solid fixing and no need to drill holes.

Smaller than I thought but does the job. Does NOT come with screws which was disappointing.

It only attaches wi is the spy glass. I was lead to believe that you need two screws also which was ideal as it would swap with the old and full the same holes. Unfortunately it doesn’t have thread for the screws so it just attaches with the spy glass meaning in left with 2 small holes in door from previous knocker. Looks ok from the outside though

REPLACED A CHROME KNOCKER FITTED BY OUR WINDOW FITTERS AND DISLIKED BY MY WIFE . THE SCREW WAS IN THE SAME POSITION AS THE OLD KNOCKER, WHICH IS WORTH CHECKING OR YOU'LL HAVE TO DRILL AN ADDITIONAL HOLE . AN EASY FIX !

I had to return this item at a cost of £3.20 as it doesn’t have the bolts to secure it to a upvc door - it’s smaller than I expected to - slightly short of 6”

Good quality, solid, door knocker. Very easy to fit as the holes in the PVC door were already made and this furniture was simply to replace a previous door knocker which had become corroded. Would strongly suggest that if you are purchasing such an item, unsure the holes in the knocker are in the expected location and that it will actually fit the door, Impressed with a highly polished, strong and solid knocker which will look good for a long time to come.
