Nintendo DS Lite Metallic Silver (Renewed)

The media could not be loaded. The DS arrived in like new condition!! It came with a charger! A couple VERY minor scratches on the top screen, but you can’t even see them while playing. All ports are clean, the stylist is new and fits in the spot wonderfully (no wiggling or falling out), the game boy cover is locked in place but easy to remove and reinstall. Unsure how the GB works, since I don’t currently have any GB games, but the DS game slot works perfectly. I was easily able to fill out settings with my daughters info (name, color, etc) and reset the date and time. It came with a plastic covering on the blue shield and the bottom screen, which I’m assuming was replaced prior to sell since it’s in perfect condition. All buttons work and play smoothly, as so the power and volume switches. Haven’t tried headphones yet, since I only have Bluetooth ones right now. The entire system is CLEAN, I know the reflection of light makes the parts around the interior screens look questionable in the video, but it is spotless. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase and glad my oldest kiddo can have her first system be something so much more manageable, easier to use and travel with, and sturdier than other, newer options. (She’s 4, almost 5 and has been begging for a Switch to play Mario)

Great condition. The console doesn’t have a scratch on it that I’ve seen. Looks brand new. Everything works perfect on it

Awful, it came with so many problems, the screen was burnt up and had pixels missing, all the buttons were loose, and it randomly crashes so your progress gets deleted. It also never full shuts off

absolutely perfect. bought from "CaveGamers". i guess i got lucky or something but it look brand new with a new charger too. looks like new screens. the outside shell has some scratches but not many. charger port looks new too. thx bros. i am happy.

This is a difficult product to review as it is a refurbished item and your results may vary plus they made some strange choices when refurbishing the DS lite.First they did an excellent job putting a new lens and shell on the device and the internals all look very good. And the shell while an aftermarket shell is nice and only has a few quarks.Some of the negatives include:Stylus is stuck and take a lot of effort to remove.The ports were filthy and can be a turn off for some. I was able to clean them with a qtip and alcohol. It raises the question why didn't they just clean it themselves?The L and R were missing springs. While not breaking it does make the triggers feel weird.The rubber membranes were the original which some may consider a pro but for me the A button was so broken in that the button sagged back into the console.The pros:Screens look beautiful. They replaced the lenses and even the digitizer for the bottom screen.The aftermarket shell while being not the best does feel really nice.Speakers worked well enough.So your mileage will vary and considering they are asking double for a used unit from eBay. I'd say it is worth it for some but if you are someone who like to tinker and fix old toys like this then maybe just go to eBay and refurbished it yourself.

I normally don’t write reviews but I just thought I would warn you before you buy this. I bought this in “excellent” condition. It definitely is not excellent. It has a bunch of scratches on the shell. The bottom screen is pretty scuffed and slightly discolored. The stylus is a different color too. It is however fully functional. I probably wont return it but I was definitely a little bummed out about the quality after paying extra for “excellent.”

Works well, plays the games, though the buttons have poorly printed on letters/designs and the bottom screen was put in crooked which is just enough to be annoying. I have no idea if that is because it was opened and refurbished or if Nintendo quality really dropped at some point, either way, not too much of a problem.Over all, it works, I can play my games, the sound is great, and I am having a blast playing pokemon games with it, so it’s great
