After heating the wax over 90 sec total I used a wooden applicator and pressed down on the hard wax surface and a volcano of very hot wax went all over my arms and hands. The wax in the lower part of the cup had melted but the top surface had not. The pressure I put on the hard top created a volcano once I broke through. It took me quite a while to remove the wax off my body because it was pulling skin off with it. In the end I was able to remove it but received multiple first degree burns as a result. I am certainly not blaming the company for the burns but I am warning those buying this product that the wax heats unevenly and to be very careful when mixing it. I have not actually used the product for its intended use as I am waiting on my hands and arms to heal from the burns.
