I have these cables running balanced between my SMSL SU-9N and SH-9 and I'm finally getting the full output power of 6W.You really don't need any of the more expensive types unless you're really stretching the length of the cable by a few hundred meters.

Good, but…
These cables are good quality and have held up well, but I did have to file down the unlocking tab because it was too close to the end of the plug, and too fat. A lot of xlr cables have a release tab that is very narrow in order to avoid being in the way of certain connections. I didn’t know that was what I was going to need. Fortunately, I found a way around it by using a metal file to remove enough of the metal from that tab so that the cable can make the connection and lock.

Great / Affordable XLR Cable
I have to say that this is one of my favorite purchases for my studio / setup. I typically use my microphone on my desk and close to me, so this XLR made it so I don’t have to have a 4 foot + cable running through my whole setup. The build of it feels premium and the sound quality is exactly as the RODE XLR.
