CAUTION the Fish Gripper was maded in CHINA, much less quality than "The Fish Grip"
Caution of purchasing from Amazon, as the Orange one was the real "The Fish Grip", but the glow-in-the-dark was made in China with no name on it and much less quality than The Fish Grip? It's strange that Amazon allows this type of false advertising and clearly patent infringement.

Glow-in-dark color is Chinese knockoff NOT united plastics fish grip
The glow in the dark color is NOT a united plastics fish grip. It is a cheap Chinese knock off. I recently ordered both the orange color and glow in the dark but the glow color was clearly labeled "made in china" and did not include any packaging. I returned it thinking there was a mistake and recieved the same exact thing in exchange. The orange color is united plastics brand and comes in the correct packaging and has the logo on the grips.

Look a Gar in the teeth!!
I love this thing from the very start. My first fish landed was a GAR! And you fishermen know that they have a set of teeth from the tip of their nose to half way back on their bodies. I got tired of him snappin' all over the place and grabbed him with my trusty fish grip - and that was that. I use it to hold fish when I am weighing them as the suckers can jump off a scale hook pretty easy. Not with this. Of course, I have set my scale to account for the weight of the grip. :)

Used it for one season so far and it's amazing. Love the fact that it doesn't pierce and destroys the fish lower mouth/lip.Works well from the kayak and from the beach/ surf. Very light weight and a great product overall. Glow in the dark makes it easy to spot and find at night as well.

Suprised!!
Not that they say glow in the dark, but they really work!! The glowing aspect is so-so, that's because glow items have to be exposed to a good amount of UV rays or a bright light for a period of time to illuminate the glow effect. Based on not exposing to light, I would say they would glow fairly well if you are curious only on that factor. My point is they really work with grabbing and really holding a large fishes lip... oh and I also notice once it clamps on the fishes lip, the fish calms down oddly enough....Sounds weird, but it is the truth. I bought two so I don't think I will need to replace anytime soon. They are really sturdy for being plastic and I don't think they will brake easy. I recommend these fish clamp grips.

Fish Grip
I am very happy with my new fish gripper. I took this up to Quetico (Canada's version of the BWCA)for some canoeing/fishing. This thing worked fantastic for snatching northern pike out of the water. The biggest fish we caught was 35", and this thing handled it like a charm. The biggest advantage is the size. For fishermen in small watercraft, that don't want to lug around a large net, this device is a perfect substitute. The only drawback is the damage it can do to this fish. Especially with pike who love to thrash, the gripper can really do some damage to their mouth. If I use the gripper, I plan to keep the fish.

A must for Bass or larger fish-fishermen
Every bass fisherman should one of these. Great for securely holding fish if you are trying to get a hard to release hook out. I also have one I use on my fish scale for weighing the fish. Holds them WAY more securely and you are not punching additional holes in the jaw.
