My dog loves this food. It's easy to prepare and a nice alternative to dry food.

I tried it for my somewhat fussy old dog on the recommendation of kids and grandkids whose dogs really love it. Alas, it didn't work for mine. I was hoping he would gobble it up so I could use it as a way to get meds into him. He just doesn't like the consistency. I tried various amounts of water but none made it attractive to him. But my granddogs got the rest of it and they are my best friends forever now. So Rob Roy doesn't recommend it, but Fuu, Watson, Franc and Dennis highly recommend it.

Over all it is a good product, pups love it but I keep finding clumps. I though they would break down once they were soaked in water but they don't. I have to fish them out & break up before rehydration. This is my only problem. I've attached a photo showing a couple I just fished out. These were right on top. They are in a teaspoon to show size. Other than this the product is great!

Wanted to stop feeding my dogs the dry stuff and was suspect about the canned food's nutrition. Read in an article that this freeze dried food was the best of both worlds in that it was fresh veggies and meat with the convenience of quick meal preparation. Love it and so do the dogs.

Expensive

The only reason I did not rate it '5' stars is because the lamb is in very large clumps...which makes the convenience of having freeze dried food more complicated. I called the company and they explained that you have to break up the clumps of meat product with a meat tenderizer type mallet. Still a good product but not as convenient as the chicken freeze dried product, which is what I purchased the first time.

My two little dogs are thriving on this food. This is my second bag and I’ll definitely be ordering more!

Love this food! Smells like actual HUMAN food ... you know what is in the food! A little overpriced for sizing ... I wish they would lower their pricing or offer special deals directly. Becomes a little too expensive when you have 3+ dogs, along with Large dogs.
